Andreas Moritz - Your Trusted Source for Natural Healing Methods: Does Your Liver Need an Overhaul?
Does Your Liver Need an Overhaul?
If you experience major or persisting difficulties in your
physical and emotional health, your liver may be congested with toxic compounds
that are trapped in deposits of hardened bile. There is hardly any health
condition that is not directly or indirectly linked with restricted liver
performance.
Any form of congestion in the liver may also result in fear,
anger, impatience, greed, depression, disease and cynicism. These expressions
of discontent may indicate that the body is increasingly cut off from the
circuit of nourishment and vital energy. Cleansing the liver of major
impurities can help restore balance, harmony and happiness in every facet of
individual life.
Gallstones in the Liver
Every year in the United States, 20 million adults suffer
from gallstone attacks. In many cases, treatment consists of removing the
gallbladder at a cost of $5,000 or more. Yet there are many more people,
including those suffering from chronic illness, who have hundreds or thousands of
gallstones blocking the bile ducts of the liver. A liver congested with
gallstones may be one of the most common, yet rarely recognized, causes of
illness today.
Most people assume that gallstones occur only in the
gallbladder; however, this is an inaccurate assumption: comparatively few occur
in the gallbladder as compared to those in the liver. If gallstones are still
present in the liver, even if all other disease-causing factors are eliminated,
they remain the harbingers of future illness.
When the Body Speaks
The liver rarely tells you directly when it is upset or if
it needs your attention. It does tell you indirectly, though, when it starts to
perform poorly. Many ailments would not occur if the liver were in optimum
shape.
Because the liver is responsible for processing, converting,
distributing and maintaining the body's fuel supply, consisting of nutrients
and energy, impeding these functions not only affects the body as a whole, but
also the health of every single cell.
Through dietary mistakes, stress, an unbalanced lifestyle,
the use of drugs and chemical poisons, such as food additives and artificial
sweeteners, the liver bile ducts become clogged with deposits of hardened bile
or ‘gallstones.’ The resulting impairment of digestive functions reduces the
nutrient supply to the trillions of cells in the body and may become a major
cause of illness.
The Benefits of Liver
Cleansing
By removing the stones through a series of liver cleanses
(usually 6 – 8 are sufficient to fully restore performance) and maintaining a
reasonably healthy diet and lifestyle, the liver returns to its natural
efficiency and most, if not all, symptoms of discomfort begin to subside.
Energy and well-being notably increase with each cleanse.
Cleansing the liver bile ducts from gallstones may indeed be
one of the most important and powerful procedures around to dramatically
improve one's health and raise the body's vibration. By re-opening the bile
ducts, the body's energy circuits become restored and healing can take place on
all levels of body, mind and spirit.

Hi Andreas, I have a quick question regarding the liver flush if you would be so kind, in Timeless Secrets you say to take "1/2 to 1 teaspoon of malic acid, taken with 4-6 unce glasses of room temperature water" - does this mean 1/2 to a teaspoons in total per day, or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon for each of the 4 to 6 glasses of water? Also, does this count toward the 6-8 glasses of regular water we should drink every day? Thanks you so much Fra Reply to this
You would take 1/2 -1 teaspoon of malic acid in 24 -32 ounces of water per day. If you drink lets say 1 liter of malic acid solution a day, it would be good to drink an additional 24 to 32 ounces of water per day.

No harm done there, Lynne; the amount you took equaled the amount found in two liters of apple juice, which is still fine.
I recently found another method of preparation that consists of drinking 250ml (about 8 ounces) of sour/tart cherry juice during each of the six days. This equals the amount of malic acid found in 1 liter of apple juice. It’s easier to take one-quarter (1/4) liter or 8 ounces of sour cherry juice than 1 liter or 32 ounces of apple juice. You may want to try this the next time.
The small stones are equally important to clear out as the larger ones, since smaller stones cluster together in the liver bile ducts and form larger ones. When they come out, they break up into the small ones that you have seen.

For 16 years I have had gastrointestinal problems. Six gastroenterologists told me I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome & wanted me to take anti-depressants along with several other medications. I tried everything but quit the anti-depressants because they made me feel like a zombie...plus I wasn't depressed! I finally figured out that they were just masking the symptoms. After x-rays, ultrasounds, an MRI, colonoscopies & an endoscopy that showed nothing, I tried acupuncture, hypnosis, reiki, Chinese herbs, numerous diets, etc. with no improvement. Last year I took a test thru enterolabs.com that showed I have intolerances to gluten & casein . Now that I have eliminated those items from my diet, I am somewhat better but still have pain/discomfort in my gut. I will continue with the flushes and hope that eventually they will bring me back to good health. This constant discomfort in my gut has really affected my life. I am currently seeing a wonderful doctor/nutritionist who has me taking probiotics, fish oils, digestive enzymes, etc. and she also recommends your liver & gallbladder flush to her patients. I had gone through many gallbladder attacks that time (probably 35-40 attacks from Nov 2009 to May 2010). This was terrible time for me. I consulted many doctors for alternative treatment other then operation but no result and no hope came from any of them. My situation was going to be worst and finally I decided for surgery. At that time I was surfing on Internet about how the stones formed in gallbladder? What is the importance of this vital organ? And how is life without gallbladder? I was shocked to read that gallbladder is such an important organ and after surgery my life is going to be dumb. I explore more and more and finally I got my destination. “Andreas moritz --The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush”. I bought this book and gone through within a week. I finally decided to do the liver flush suggested in this book. I follow all the instructions thoroughly and done my first liver flush in May 2010. After first liver flush my 40-50 % symptoms has been gone within few days. Back pain, shoulder pain, allergy on my left leg has been gone. No gallbladder attack after first flush. I have got small shiny crystals like substance in my stool and no stone. I had tried second liver flush after one month in June 2010 and got many light green color stones in my stool. Food intolerance had gone after second flush and I had left antacids and dygine because I was suffering from acute acidity. In my third liver flush I have got some dark green color stones. My fourth liver flush I got more then 100 dark green color stones of sizes from 1mm to 2 cm. The images I have uploaded on www.curezone.com. Now I have no symptoms, no pain, no allergy, no gallbladder attack, no acidity. I have changed my life style. I am taking simple and veg diet and doing Prayanam and Yoga in morning and following all the rules suggested by Andreas Mortiz in his book and Baba Ramdev. I am taking plenty of pure water everyday (this is very important because dehydration is a major cause of Gallstones) Andreas wrote in his book that 6-7 liver flushes will require cleaning complete liver and gallbladder. I have done five liver flushes so far and living healthy life. Hopefully I will save my vital organ. MY FIFTH LIVER FLUSH I HAVE GOT ONLY CLEAR GREEN COLOUR DENSE LIQUID ONLY.

But maybe they are due to a congested liver. I made a ultrasound for my liver and kidneys which resulted healthy that is they were free of stones. My question is: Is there a mild or gradual liver cleanse which dissolve the stones or improve gradually the liver function, for example eating apples or drinking lemon water?

Andreas Moritz wrote: Thank you very much, Enkeled. I very much appreciate your kind comment.
As my book explains, ultrasound scans can only detect calcified stones in the gallbladder, but not any of the non-calcified cholesterol stones in the liver bile ducts and gallbladder. Although eating apples or other fruits that contain malic acid are beneficial in softening and reducing the size of these stones over time, if there is a significant blockage, the malic acid won’t even reach there.
Liver flushes work a lot faster and are much more thorough in clearing out the stones and toxins trapped in the liver tissue. Lemon water is excellent for reducing calcifications and increasing bile secretion but, again, it may not be enough. Turmeric is a spice that also helps with bile secretion.

It is difficult to determine how many stones there are in the liver.
To permanently cure bursitis, back pain, allergies, or other health problems, and to prevent diseases from arising, you need to remove all the stones. This may require a minimum of 8 to 12 flushes, which can be performed at three-week or monthly intervals. (It’s best to not flush more frequently than that!)
Some people with a history of drug use (any kind), alcohol abuse, cigarette smoking, vaccinations, unhealthy diet and lifestyle, emotional trauma or conflict, or severe illness, may need a lot more than 12 flushes. An dear friend of mine (age 55) who died following aggressive treatment for liver cancer, had over 70,000 stones in his liver, according to the autopsy report. He never had the chance to clean out his liver, but it would have taken him at least 30 or more flushes. It took me 12 flushes to be clean, while it took 27 flushes for my wife.
The Gold Coil Grass tincture mentioned in the book (available at http://sensiblehealth.com) is useful for those having difficulties passing enough stones.

There are usually gas pains as a result of the laxative effects of the Epsom salts (which break down fecal matter, producing gases).
The best way to avoid it is to thoroughly clean out the entire colon before each liver cleanse, ideally on Day 6.

This is because the non-calcified stones from liver consist of hardened bile which is made mostly of cholesterol fat (90%). That's why the stones float in water, because they're mostly fat. This has been explained in the book. Fat melts like other fats, such as butter, above a certain temperature. Airborne bacteria will decompose the stones if you leave them outside.
I noted that Tumeric does inflame my Gallbladder. I once heard from the chinese medicine that Tumeric (Rhizoma - Jiangghuang) aggravate inflammation and irritation because of their "heating" nature. They say that Curcuma root (Yinlin) is cooling, where the rhizome is warming. What do you think about this Andreas? Thanks for your great work and your great inspiration. Reply to this

Andreas Moritz wrote: I agree with you, Raimond, that turmeric has warming properties, since it is part fo the giner family, but this does not mean it increases inflammation. Ginger is also highly anti-inflammatory, in spite of being hot spicy.
All the dozens of studies done on the effects of turmeric rhizome show powerful anti-inflammatory properties. For this reason, turmeric is currently being investigated for possible benefits in Alzheimer's disease, cancer, arthritis, and other clinical disorders. As of 2010, the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) had registered 19 clinical trials underway to study use of dietary turmeric and curcumin for a variety of clinical disorders.
In Ayurveda, turmeric is used as an anti-inflammatory agent and remedy for gastrointestinal discomfort associated with irritable bowel syndrome and other digestive disorders. It is an excellent remedy for liver disorders. Turmeric is also used in skin creams as an antiseptic agent for cuts, burns and bruises. It is popular as a tea in Okinawa, Japan. Of course, turmeric’s powerful cleansing properties can lead to cleansing reactions which you might mistake to be an aggravation of symptoms.
I had my gall bladder taken out years ago and I feel that a series of flushes would be good for my liver.
In your book you talk about taking cranberry juice or Gold Coin Grass in preparation to a flush.
I don’t feel like drinking cranberry juice on top of a litre of apple juice every day, and your book doesn’t mention the quantity of cranberry juice we need to drink.
Therefore I have 4 questions:
1) What is the role played by cranberry juice or Gold Coin Grass?
2) What quantity of cranberry juice is needed daily?
3) So far, I haven’t been able to find Gold Coin Grass in Canada, so is there a third element I can replace either of these two ingredients with?
4)Can we substitute cranberry juice with cranberry powder capsules?
Please see answers to your questions here, Alexandre ~ thank you:
1. Both of these add additional softening of stones.
2. About 250ml of cranberry juice, to be taken for about 5 days before beginning the apple juice regimen.
3. Gold Coin Grass is sold by www.sensiblehealth.com <http://www.sensiblehealth.com> in Canada. 250ml of sour/tart cherry juice each day is another option which Andreas recently discovered works well. It can be used instead of apple juice. For those without a gallbladder, for the first liver flush he recommends that they take 250ml of the cherry juice for 10 days, instead of the 6 days of preparation. The juice may be diluted according to desire (since it is quite tart). After the first liver flush, a regular 6 days preparation period will be sufficient.
4. This is not a good idea, since this greatly reduces the amount of malic acid entering the liver.
I am doing the liver flush according to your book (I started today with the apple juice & preparations), but I have one doubt and I was hoping you could clear it up for me.
Today I was reading over the chapter, and I read that you shouldn't do the liver flush while you are taking medications. I take a birth control pill -- will that effect anything? Can I continue with the liver flush?

Aspirin causes liver bile duct congestion and prevents the liver from removing toxins and noxious substances. Naturally, to deal with them if the liver cannot remove them from the blood, is through an immune response, which involves aggravation of body fluid (mucus). An allergy is not a disease, but a desperate attempt by the body to eliminate toxins by combining them with mucus and remove them via the orifices and the skin. This involves inflammation.
Like all drugs, aspirin, eventually causes the exact same problem it is used for, and usually worse. Liver flushes allow the body to remove toxins and noxious substances, thereby making allergic reactions unnecessary. This includes asthma, skin eruptions, food allergies and chemical sensitivities. ~ Andreas

Warmly, Andreas

Thank you Andreas for your quick response. I feel much better now, knowing no harm was done. That word "acid" can be kind of scary! I will definitely try the sour cherry juice next time as I couldn't tolerate the apple juice.
I would also like to thank you for everything you do to help people...you are amazing like the title of your book!
I first found out about your book from a good friend and now I am telling all my friends about it.
Thank you again Andreas!

Hello Andreas, I would like to first thank you for the information and knowledge you are providing to the general public. I have referred your books to many friends and family members. I have personally done 15 liver flushes during the past 15 months. My digestion has improved dramatically. But I feel there is more to be done. Should I be concerned in doing more than 15 flushes one right after the other. The last flush yielded some very good results. Your work is a godsend and I pray that others are able to see this.

Thank you very much, I appreciate that.
Some individuals need more flushes than others. I was fortunate to needed only 12, whereas my wife needed 26. It’s not harmful to keep going, but once you start feeling better it is fine to pace them out more, if you prefer, like once every 6-8 weeks or 8-10 weeks.

My digestion too has improved dramatically. Thank you Andreas.
Even if you don't need it, I can't help to promote you to all my friends. You're such a nice person.
I did 17 flushes during the last 2 years and my life changed with it.
I still feel my gallbladder inflamed once in a time so I suppose that I need to go on flushing as JJ in above message.
Last flush I flushed +/- 30 2-3 mm stones.
When do we know that no more flushes are needed?
I've heard that you are publishing a new book. What is the subject of the book Andres?

Thank you so much.
If you just pass 5-10 such small ones (2-3 mm), you may just do a twice yearly maintenance cleanse.
I recently published a large version of my original small book, Heal Yourself with Sunlight. I also published Feel Great, Lose Weight three months ago, and I am now in the final stages of Vaccine-nation: Poisoning the Population, One Shot at a Time which I hope to release sometime in November.
Warmly,
Andreas

I was detected multiple gallstones in my gallbladder of collectively size 12.5 mm in Jan 2010 (I had tried three different radiologist and get three different reports from them. Two are saying there are multiple stones in my gallbladder and one is saying there is one calcified stone of size more then 10.5 mm).
THANKS ANDREAS SIR FOR SAVING MY LIFE

Hi Andreas,
the last year (2010) i have read the "lifting the veil of duality" which is one of best spiritual books i have ever read( i began reading spiritual books on 2008 which shocked my system beliefs). i have many of the symptoms defined as accession symptoms which have began since 2005(allergy like symptoms, buzzing ears, etj).
Thank you for your work in awaking the mankind!

What is your opinion of the seasonal cleanse recommended in ayurveda with the ghee and kitchari? I was planning on doing this 7 day cleanse and then I read your book about the liver and gallbladder cleanse. Which one should I do first or how much time inbetween?
Reply to this
You can do the kitchari cleanse but it does nothing to release stones form the liver and gallbladder, if this is your objective.

Thanks Andreas,
I am finishing the kitchari cleanse this weekend and will proceed with your cleanse next week. Thanks for the insight.

Dear Andreas:
I have a child of 11 who has 3 gallstones in his gallbladder (one of them measures 6.5 mm). He is being treated by a naturophata and has gone through 1 liver flush getting lots of green color stones, but the 3 gallstones in his gallbladder remain there. So it would be necessary to go through another liver flush. I am giving him half of the measures of the ones in the book (as you recommend for children), but I have a doubt when we have to mix these products with water... Should I also put half of the measure of water (to get the same concentration of the product)? And another worry... do you think that a child could throw out a gallstone of 6.5 mm from his body without risk of it getting stuck in his body? Thank you for your help, you are our only hope if we do not want to go through a surgery.

It is unlikely that your son can release calcified stones right from the beginning of the flush series. It may take 5-6 flushes, sometimes less, before the calcified stones are released. The main thing is to get rid of the stones in the liver.

Dear Andreas,
This week we are going through the 7th flush and still the gallstones are still there. Would you recommend to us go on the flush series? Would you complement the flush with any other treatment? I have heard about water treatments ... What do you think about them?

Dear Andreas,
Thank you for your quick answer. My son is only 12 and has always had a healthy life. He is sportive, does not eat junk food, ... but still he has three gallstones in his gallbladder. We will continue the flush series as you recommend us to do so. Last year during spring, summer and autumn time we went through 6 flushes. Tonight, the 7th flush of this year!. So far, the night of the flush, he always gets up around 5 am., with pain in his stomach; it takes two o three hours not to have any pain. In your book, you say that he should not feel any pain. What do you think it is due? Thank you very much, Andreas.

Calcified stones in the gallbladder are the most reluctant ones to come out,Blanca, since they are heavy and tend to sit at the bottom of the gallbladder. But the most damaging gallstones are the ones inside the bile ducts of the liver.
There are usually gas pains as a result of the laxative effects of the Epsom salts (which break down fecal matter, producing gases).

No doubt liver flush improve health very much. But why stones melt with 2-3 hours.
Reply to this
This is because the non-calcified stones from liver consist of hardened bile which is made mostly of cholesterol fat (90%). That's why the stones float in water, because they're mostly fat. This has been explained in the book. Fat melts like other fats, such as butter, above a certain temperature. Airborne bacteria will decompose the stones if you leave them outside.

Dear Andreas,
I noted that Tumeric does inflame my Gallbladder.
Reply to this
I agree with you, Raimond, that turmeric has warming properties, since it is part fo the giner family, but this does not mean it increases inflammation. Ginger is also highly anti-inflammatory, in spite of being hot spicy.

Dear Mr. Moritz,
I had my gall bladder taken out years ago and I feel that a series of flushes would be good for my liver.
Thank you.

Hi Andreas,
I am doing the liver flush according to your book (I started today with the apple juice & preparations), but I have one doubt and I was hoping you could clear it up for me.
Today I was reading over the chapter, and I read that you shouldn't do the liver flush while you are taking medications. I take a birth control pill -- will that effect anything? Can I continue with the liver flush?
Thank you for your help!
Gabriella

You may try, but you should know that hormone replacements constitute a major cause of intrahepatic gallstones, and they dramatically increase the risk of breast cancer, stroke and heart disease.

Thank you for your reply, and advice. I am aware, and I am indeed impatiently finishing out my LAST week and a half of pills (it was recommended not to stop in the middle of a cycle).
Glad to hear I can continue with the flush.
Thank you again!

Many people have done the liver flush. Compared to not doing it and having gallstone attacks, it is not risky so long as you follow the flush directions (protocol) completely and to the letter, as outlined in the book. The book is available in Dutch.

Hi Andreas, I was introduced to your book "The Amazing . . . ." through an online group on iodine. For years now I have felt stagnant energy in the area of my liver and gallbladder (ultra-sounded by my GP with nothing showing up), and until just recently have experienced discomfort when trying to sleep on my right side. I have had health problems - asthma/sinusitis - for 20 years and in 2007 came down with Samter's Triad - severe allergy to salycilates. In desperation I did the sinus surgery (2009), as all my sinuses were blocked except the sphenoids, as well as the aspirin desensitization. I continue to take aspirin every day to keep the polyps from coming back. I am 1 week away from doing my first liver flush. I have been taking the Chinese bitters as prep, GCG , and now the malic acid. I am hoping for good results the first time around to give me encouragement and incentive to keep the flushes up for however long it takes. My question is whether you have had any experience with people who have Samter's, or a severe allergy to Salycilates. I would love to get off of the aspirin altogether (as much as it has helped in some ways, I am not keen on it and you mention it is not good in your cancer book). I have many other symptoms of toxicity as well, but have been feeling better after starting on ALA 2x/day. Any thoughts, comments or ideas on all this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ever so much,
Rachel

Salycilates, being a major ingredient of aspirin, can, of course, cause allergies against them, which can then lead to numerous food sensitivities or allergies and many other conditions, such as asthma-like symptoms like trouble breathing and wheezing, headaches, nasal congestion, and stomach pain.

Oh, I’am so happy to have found this blog, with lots of great posts and great questions/answers.
I am a woman from Norway, 53 years old. I have different physical problems that I want to get rid of. Among these things, I have had a constant pain in the whole right side of my body, since I was 28 years old, The pain is diffuse, and doctors have not had any explanation.
I just did my first liver flush. ALL PAINS IN THE RIGHT SIDE IS GONE! I can’t believe it’s true, but it is a fact. In addition, the desire to live and eat more healthy have increased significantly after the flush.
I have told about my flush on my blog, http://livsmagasinet.no/leverrensning and posted some pictures of my first stones. And of course, told about Andreas Moritz and his wonderful book! So if there are readers here from Scandinavia, just go in and see. And the rest of you could use Google translate, if you want to have a look.
I’m so happy for this, and I will do many more liver flush, can’t wait for my next. I could do this every week!
Warmly thanks to you, Andreas!
♥ Big hugs to all of you! ♥

Thank you very much, Eva, for sharing this. And congratulations! Yes, the pain on the side is actually caused by a blockage of the gallbladder meridian that runs along the side. This can cause pain, tingling, numbness and loss of movement. I used to have the same issue before I did my own liver and gallbladder flushes 15 year ago, and it also cleared up right after the first flush. Millions of people suffer from this and their doctors have no clue what’s causing it (i.e., accumulation of stones in the liver bile ducts and gallbladder).
Warmly,
Andreas
