				&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&lt;/font&gt;Like a switched-on radio receiver, your body continuously 
receives a vast amount of data and information from the external world. 
The earth, stars, sun and all life forms constantly emit radiation, 
which your body registers and processes to ensure balanced functioning 
and a harmonious relationship with the environment. Everything radiates,
 including light, warmth, air, earth-electric fields, microwaves, 
magnetic fields, radioactivity, etc. In response to all these visible 
and invisible influences, your body produces concrete messages, which 
try to tell you what to do at any given moment. Sleep, hunger, thirst, 
and any other natural urges or occurrences in your body indicate that 
your "radio" is switched on and you are "in tune" with the natural 
world. All of us are constantly challenged to listen and act on the 
messages we receive.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When we are no longer in tune with the outer 
forces, such as the cycles of the sun and moon, we begin to feel out of 
balance, and perhaps fall ill. This means we need to take more 
self-responsibility, which requires commitment to self, 
self-appreciation and self-love. These are the very same qualities that 
an illness may possibly help reinforce in us (the main purpose behind 
the disease-process). Instead of just dealing with the symptoms of a 
disease, we may greatly benefit from locating its origin(s) because it 
can teach us much about ourselves.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It is much more convenient to 
blame a virus for the cold you catch than to acknowledge that irregular 
sleeping habits or eating a lot of junk food, and the reasons behind 
this behavior,  may have something to do with it. In truth, everything 
negative has a positive opposite hidden within it. Given the 
circumstances that you have created for yourself, it actually is not a 
bad stroke of luck or a form of punishment that makes you fall ill. All 
forms of ill health serve as opportunities to learn more about yourself,
 your body, your past, and the way you choose to live your life right 
now. Illness can lead you to a heightened state of awareness if you 
start seeing it as a challenge to move forward in your life rather than 
it being just a nuisance.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Body's Many Messages&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It 
requires an open mind and heart to be able to listen to and follow the 
rules that nature has laid out for the smooth and effortless functioning
 of the body. To insist that everything needs to be explained 
scientifically before it is valid and worthy of consideration is not 
only impractical, but also shows lack of self-confidence and poor sense 
of judgment. The messages that we can receive from nature are direct and
 need no intellectual interpretation. In fact, trying to figure out 
everything to know it intellectually can actually steer you away from 
the ability to listen to the inner wisdom bestowed to you by nature 
itself.  The wisdom of how to live a healthy, happy life is intrinsic to
 the body, mind and spirit of every person.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;To give an interesting
 example: you don't really have to understand the exact mechanisms 
behind the hunger signal that the body is giving you when it needs food.
 All you need to do is to eat and experience how the hunger subsides. By
 habitually ignoring the natural urge to eat, your stomach, pancreas and
 small intestines may get "upset" and start adjusting to the new rule of
 living by keeping their production of digestive juices low, so as not 
to waste the body's precious resources. So when you suddenly eat a 
substantial, normal meal, you are likely to suffer indigestion. 
&lt;br&gt;On the other hand, if your stomach tells you that you are not 
hungry, i.e., that you don't require any food at the moment, but you 
still eat out of politeness or curiosity, the digestive system won't be 
able to process the food properly. This is another cause of indigestion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If
 you feel the natural urge to have a bowel movement, the body sends you 
in the direction of a bathroom. But by disregarding this signal because 
it comes at an inconvenient time, your body has no other choice but to 
hold on to the waste. Eventually, the urge to defecate subsides, and 
more and more water is withdrawn from the feces until it is too dry and 
hard to be eliminated. This condition is known as constipation. Or, 
destructive bacteria begin to break down some of the waste, leading to 
toxic gases and other noxious substances. This may cause blood poisoning
 and other disturbances in the digestive system.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When your body 
feels tired and sleepy you have the natural urge to lie down and sleep. 
However, a cup of coffee or a cigarette will provide you with enough 
adrenaline to keep you awake. If you ignore the body's sleep signals as a
 matter of routine, the over-secretion of adrenaline and other stress 
hormones may end up making you hyperactive, and unable to relax or sleep
 properly.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ignoring the natural messages of the body lies at the 
basis of most illnesses today. To add to the already existing confusion 
about health matters, books, radio, television and especially magazines 
bombard you with an overwhelming amount of advice and information on the
 latest slimming diets, routines and lifestyle programs that are 
supposed to be "so good for you." For example, not so long ago we were 
told that potatoes and pasta were among the most fattening foods, then 
nutritionists considered them good for slimming, and the latest low carb
 craze dismisses them as junk food. Torn between various health 
doctrines, we look for perfect answers to our problems. At the end, when
 your body is exhausted while trying to adjust to one diet after 
another, you may begin to realize that your requirements are totally 
unique and undergo constant changes, often from one day to the next.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If
 you are a sensitive person you must have noticed that at certain days 
of the month or times of day you are able to digest a particular food 
item more easily than at other days or times. The same food can make you
 feel vital and energetic on one day and cause you an upset stomach, 
bloating or cramping on another day. You may find that the same pasta 
dish may leave your stomach quickly after one meal whereas two weeks 
later the same dish will sit there like a rock and make you feel 
congested and even add weight to your body. Apart from the daily and 
seasonal cycles of change, the answer to this mysterious behavior of the
 body lies in the continuous movement of the planets and their various 
positions.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Good Health Requires Natural Instinct&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In 1984, 
Nobel laureate Carlo Rubbia proved that the human body is composed of 
mostly energy and only very little matter. To be exact, for each 
particle of matter there are 974.600.000 units of energy (photons). In 
other words, only one billionth of your body consists of matter, the 
rest is vibrational energy. All matter that comprises your physical 
body, the chair you are sitting on and the planet you are living on 
behaves essentially in a quantum-mechanical way. Since all external 
influences, such as solar storms, climate changes and the moon's passage
 through a particular zodiac represent different energy states, they can
 instantly trigger corresponding activities, responses and 
transformations within your body. As a result of receiving these outer 
stimulations, your body starts sending subtle signals or intuitive 
messages to tell you that its requirements for food, water, rest, 
exercise, warmth, coolness, etc., have changed. This, however, requires 
sensitivity and wakefulness on your part. Both these qualities are 
absent, if you suppress your body's natural urges (hunger, thirst, 
defecation, urination, sleep, etc.), overload your digestive system with
 food and waste, or even make yourself dependent on other people's 
advice, however useful it may appear to be.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any good system of 
health care can be recognized by one attribute: It teaches you how to 
listen to your body and how to become self-dependent in knowing what is 
useful for you at every moment in time. In any case, let experience 
guide you and find out what works for you and what doesn't. A theory 
alone does not make you healthy. As you begin to listen to your body's 
subtle messages, you will find that its behavior, activities, natural 
urges, and symptoms of disease are far from being random or 
coincidental.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Health trouble begins when we doubt our body's 
ability to make the right choices, and this is exactly what we have 
learned to do, almost right from the beginning of life. Many of our 
natural instincts were discouraged or subdued by man-made rules, 
beliefs, manipulation, and advertising. They dictate to us our 
lifestyle, eating habits and times of eating, sleeping, and elimination 
of wastes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If we keep ignoring the body's basic instincts, the 
mind begins to look for substitutes, which causes (legitimate) cravings 
or addictions to foods, beverages, stimulants, sex, etc. By giving a 
little extra attention to your body, it will soon tell you the 
difference between a balanced and an unbalanced message. If, for 
example, your stomach is still full and you want to eat something, you 
will find that it is not your stomach that wants more food. Through the 
message of food craving the body is trying to tell you that it is no 
longer able to digest and assimilate foods properly and is consequently 
suffering from malnutrition. This cellular famine leads to the cravings.
 If your stomach is empty and you feel hungry, ask your stomach what it 
really would like to eat. The body's nutritional and emotional 
requirements shift from day to day in direct response to changes 
occurring in the near and far environment. A set dietary plan would, 
therefore, confuse the body's specific needs, and distort the messages 
it is trying to convey to you.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The body's natural instincts follow
 certain principle forces that are common to every part of physical 
creation. The unique representation of these forces in your body 
ultimately determines your natural inclinations and instincts. It is 
responsible for the specific characteristics of your body type. To 
restore your body's natural instincts, which is essential for regaining 
lasting health and vitality, you may first need to discover your

plant', 'burn plant', 'first-aid plant' or 'miracle plant'. Even today, 
it is one of the most effective plants for treating burns, healing 
wounds and relieving aches and pains. It is recommended for psoriasis, 
where, when used regularly, it reduces scaling and itching and greatly 
improves appearance.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Aloe vera became very popular for its use in 
combating the severe burning effects caused by x-rays and nuclear 
disasters. Radiation burns cause skin ulcerations that had been nearly 
incurable until physicians began trying the old folk remedy of the aloe 
leaf.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Today, this plant has gained such great popularity that it 
is being used in many cosmetics and health products. Aloe vera juice 
that is taken internally has been found to be effective in almost every 
illness, including cancer, heart disease and AIDS. In fact, there is 
hardly any disease or health problem for which this miracle plant has 
not been proven successful. It is helpful for all kinds of allergies, 
skin diseases, blood disorders, arthritis, infections, yeast overgrowth,
 cysts, diabetes, eye problems, digestive disorders, ulcers, liver 
diseases, hemorrhoids, high blood pressure, kidney stones and stroke, to
 name a few.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Its use is most beneficial if treatments are applied 
both internally and externally. It contains over 200 nutrients, 
including the vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, C, E, Folic acid, iron, calcium, 
magnesium, zinc, manganese, copper, barium, sulphate, 18 amino acids, 
important enzymes, glycosides, polysaccharides, etc.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There are an 
estimated 500 published independent research studies conducted by 
doctors and scientists on the healing agent found in the aloe vera plant
 and its non-toxic benefits. That is many more studies than one would 
find on any other natural substance, and hundreds of times the 
confirmation of safety and effectiveness of any drug available.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;A word of caution: watch out for the frauds&lt;/u&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Since
 the consumer market has created a great demand for aloe vera juice, 
production is increasing rapidly. Unfortunately, many brands contain 
inadequate amounts of the plant juice to be effective. According to the 
law, if you take a 10,000-gallon vat and put 9,999 gallons of water in 
it and then add one gallon of aloe vera juice, you are allowed to 
advertise that it contains '100 percent pure stabilized aloe vera'. You 
are not required to mention how much extra water has been added to the 
100 percent aloe vera juice. Hence many people are disappointed because 
they do not receive the acclaimed benefits. Before using any brand it is
 good to check out the exact table of contents as mentioned in a 
company's brochure or better ask the company to give you the exact 
figures of contents.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Also, don't be tempted to buy the cheapest 
aloe juice for it is expensive. If you are not getting any benefits from
 it, you may have chosen the wrong product. Try other brands until you 
are satisfied. Tests have shown that less than one percent of readily 
available brands contain acceptable levels of aloe vera to be of any 
medicinal value. From the over 1,000 brands of aloe vera available on 
the market today, some hardly have a trace of the plant extract in them.
 Their labels contain such phrases 'it tastes like mineral water' and 
'no additives or preservatives'. Chemical analysis reveals that these 
'products' contain almost nothing but plain mineral water.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The 
good news is that more and more people have begun to see through the 
fraud business; hence, many other companies are now also introducing the
 real thing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There is an excellent new aloe vera product in 
powdered form, which dissolves in water; it is thus more convenient than
 having to buy the bottled juice. It is completely free of additives.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;Please Note&lt;/u&gt;:
 With regular drinking of aloe vera, diabetics may improve the ability 
of the pancreas to produce more of its own insulin. Since too much 
insulin is dangerous, diabetics should consult their physician to 
monitor their need for extra insulin. Many diabetics report a reduction 
in the amount of insulin required. Also if you experience diarrhea or 
intestinal cramping for more than two to three days, discontinue. This 
is due to irritants the plant contains. Instead, you may choose a 
product that has all irritants removed.&lt;/p&gt;			&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="overflow: hidden;"&gt;------------------&lt;br&gt;

&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;If you have a relative or friend who has
 cancer and is considering any conventional cancer treatment to achieve 
tumor shrinkage, you may want to pass this newsletter on to them. It 
discusses top-notch research just-published in the prestigious medical 
journal &lt;i&gt;Cancer Cell, &lt;/i&gt;which proves aggressive tumor shrinkage is responsible for making cancers deadly and spreading them to other parts of the body.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;For the past 20 years, I have been 
making the ‘outrageous’ claim that common cancer treatments, including 
chemotherapy medications, radiation therapy, and angiogenesis inhibitors
 used to shrink cancerous tumors are largely responsible for making them
 more aggressive and develop in other parts of the body (erroneously 
called “metastases”) as well.&lt;a title="" href="http://www.ener-chi.com/anti-cancer-drugs-make-tumors-more-deadly/#_ftn1"&gt;&lt;sup&gt;[1]&lt;/sup&gt;&lt;/a&gt;
 Over the years I have received a fair amount of ridicule, defamatory 
comments and outright death threats for publishing my unrelenting stance
 on the subject.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;The National Cancer Institute states on 
its web site: “Angiogenesis inhibitors are unique cancer-fighting agents
 because they tend to inhibit the growth of blood vessels rather than 
tumor cells. In some cancers, angiogenesis inhibitors are most effective
 when combined with additional therapies, especially chemotherapy.” 
However, a 2012-study which was supported by the National Institutes of 
Health (NIH), sheds new light on why the ‘effectiveness’ of these 
cancer-fighting drugs is actually short-lived and can turn into a 
frightening scenario with possibly fatal consequences. The new research 
shows that aggressive treatment (used to shrink or remove even 
relatively small, slow-growing or encapsulated, harmless tumors) may 
create a situation where the entire body is riddled with highly 
aggressive cancers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;This study, published in the January 17, 2012 issue of &lt;i&gt;Cancer Cell&lt;/i&gt;,&lt;a title="" href="http://www.ener-chi.com/anti-cancer-drugs-make-tumors-more-deadly/#_ftn2"&gt;&lt;sup&gt;[2]&lt;/sup&gt;&lt;/a&gt;
 finds that a group of little-explored cells that are part of every 
primary cancerous tumor likely serve as important gatekeepers against 
cancer progression and metastasis. A relatively new class of anti-cancer
 drugs, known as angiogenic inhibitors, diminishes or destroys these 
cells, called &lt;i&gt;pericytes&lt;/i&gt;, by cutting off the blood supply to the tumors.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;Scientists and oncologists from around 
the world made the shortsighted assumption that by cutting off a tumor’s
 life support system consisting of a tumor’s blood vessels they could 
achieve a successful and permanent tumor regression. Little did they 
know that this would open a Pandora’s box and create a cancer nightmare.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;" align="center"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Cancer’s Wisdom in Action&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;Seen from a holistic and truly 
scientific perspective, the above assumption is critically flawed. I 
have frequently made the argument that cancer is one of the body’s final
 healing attempts to return to a balanced condition (homeostasis), and 
this new research clearly illustrates cancer constitutes one the body’s 
most highly evolved and sophisticated protective mechanisms.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;The study found that therapies–which 
shrink cancer by cutting off tumors’ blood supply–may be inadvertently 
making tumors more aggressive and likely to spread. Said differently, to
 help prevent a cancer from getting out of control and invading other 
parts of the body, the body tenaciously and purposefully grows extra 
blood vessels. Why would the body do such a thing, you might ask?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;Well, all cancer cells are normal cells 
that have turned anaerobic, meaning that they are so oxygen-deprived 
(due to congestion-caused oxygen deficiency) that they must mutate in 
order to survive and produce energy without having to use oxygen. To 
increase the oxygen supply to these congested cells and to support the 
action by pericytes’ to prevent cancer progression and metastasis, the 
body &lt;b&gt;needs&lt;/b&gt; to grow new blood vessels. Thus, the 
currently applied medical approach of destroying these blood vessels is 
therefore counterproductive and must be considered dangerous. It 
destroys the very system the body uses to make sure a particular 
cancerous tumor remains an isolated and curable event and does not 
escalate into a widespread, uncontrollable, and self-perpetuating 
disease process.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;To make this very clear, cancer drugs 
don’t just destroy cancer cells but also cancer-protective cells and 
blood vessels transporting oxygen to both cancer cells and normal cells.
 Ionizing radiation and cancer drugs are outright carcinogenic, and 
thus, they can cause new cancer cells to develop almost anywhere in the 
body.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Controlling Tumor Growth Makes Cancer Spread More&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;There is no doubt that chemotherapy 
drugs, angiogenic drugs, or radiation therapy can achieve significant 
tumor regression, but not without paying the hefty price of producing a 
multitude of new cancers. Besides the billions of corpses of dead cancer
 cells and pericytes this biological genocide leaves behind, there are 
also billions of inflamed or otherwise damaged cells and blood vessels 
that greatly increase the chances of developing any number of new, 
aggressive, deadly cancers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;Most of these cancers are too small, 
though, to be detected right away by diagnostic instruments, and doctors
 can get away with the proud expression “we got it all,” at least for a 
while. Yet within a year or two&amp;nbsp; these cancers almost inevitably become 
larger and detectable, and the same doctors then tell their patients 
that their cancer not only has “returned,” but has metastasized to other
 parts of the body.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;&amp;nbsp;The above study provides us with the 
unexpected finding that may actually prove current cancer treatments, 
including chemotherapy, angiogenic therapy and radiation therapy, to be 
the greatest contributors to developing aggressive, terminal cancers and
 significantly lowering one’s chances of survival.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;In this investigation, senior author 
Raghu Kalluri, MD, PhD, Chief of the Division of Matrix Biology at Beth 
Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Professor of Medicine at 
Harvard Medical School (HMS), had actually intended to find out if 
targeting of &lt;i&gt;pericytes&lt;/i&gt; could inhibit tumor growth in the same 
way that other drugs inhibiting blood vessel growth to tumors can. After
 all, pericytes are an important part of tissue vasculature&lt;a title="" href="http://www.ener-chi.com/anti-cancer-drugs-make-tumors-more-deadly/#_ftn3"&gt;&lt;sup&gt;[3]&lt;/sup&gt;&lt;/a&gt;,
 covering blood vessels and supporting their growth. What Kalluari and 
his team stumbled upon instead was both startling and extremely 
disturbing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;In an article titled, “Study Shows How A
 Group of Tumor Cells Prevent Cancer Spread – Paradoxical discovery 
finds that pericyte cells help prevent metastasis,”&lt;a title="" href="http://www.ener-chi.com/anti-cancer-drugs-make-tumors-more-deadly/#_ftn4"&gt;&lt;sup&gt;[4]&lt;/sup&gt;&lt;/a&gt; Bonnie Prescott&lt;i&gt; &lt;/i&gt;at &lt;i&gt;Beth Israel&lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt; Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, &lt;/i&gt;&amp;nbsp;describes the dire implications of the study in some greater detail.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;When applied to breast cancer, “Kalluri 
and his colleagues found that by depleting pericyte numbers by 60 
percent in breast cancer tumors they saw a 30 percent decrease in tumor 
volumes over 25 days,” writes Prescott.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;Since such significant tumor shrinkage 
will prevent or slow the growth of the targeted cancer, conventional 
‘medical wisdom’ dictates that this would be a favorable effect, and 
oncologists have hailed this approach to be a breakthrough in cancer 
treatment.&amp;nbsp; However, the researchers also discovered that by destroying 
pericytes by 60-70 percent the number of secondary lung tumors increased
 threefold, indicating that the tumors had metastasized.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;“If you just looked at tumor growth, the results were good,” says Kalluri. &lt;b&gt;“But
 when you looked at the whole picture, inhibiting tumor vessels was not 
controlling cancer progression. The cancer was, in fact, spreading.”&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;“We showed that a big tumor with good 
pericyte coverage is less metastatic than a smaller tumor of the same 
type with less pericyte coverage,” says Kalluri, who corroborated these 
findings in multiple types of cancer by repeating these same experiments
 with implanted renal cell carcinoma and melanoma tumors, writes 
Prescott.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;All this questions the very argument 
pushed on unsuspecting cancer patients by medical professionals that 
treatment-caused tumor regression is a desirable objective. Just imagine
 you were diagnosed with a cancerous tumor and your doctor told you that
 his proposed treatment could reduce the size of your tumor by 30 
percent but at the same time increase your chances of developing 
secondary tumors by a whopping 300 percent!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Beware of Conventional Cancer Treatments&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;The history of conventional anti-cancer 
therapies is replete with cases where the treatment turned out to be far
 more devastating than the disease itself. This single piece of research
 provides us with the understanding that the body isn’t reckless or 
irresponsible when it actually builds new blood vessels to support tumor
 growth. On the contrary, it is well equipped with the superb wisdom and
 physical means to pursue the best possible routes of survival, 
regardless of the circumstances such as toxicity, congestion, and 
emotional stress.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;Attacking the body’s tumor cells is 
still an attack on the body, which is exacerbated when doctor and 
patient simplistically perceive cancer cells to be evil monsters that 
must be destroyed at any cost. Cancer diagnosis and treatment are 
severely stressful, violent acts against the body and will evoke a 
powerful fight or flight response that affects every part of the body. 
The death fright triggers continuous releases of stress hormones into 
the blood–powerful enough to shut down the digestive system and immune 
system, and to constrict important blood vessels, including those that 
support the cancer-protective pericytes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;As this new study has demonstrated, the 
destruction of pericytes goes hand in hand with a dramatic increase in 
the number of secondary tumors in other parts of the body. The body is 
not a machine but a living being, and it responds with emotions and 
biochemical changes to everything you think, feel and expose yourself 
to. Threatening the body on any level jeopardizes its healing abilities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;Cancer has a deeper meaning or purpose 
than purely random destruction, and ignorance about the true purpose of 
cancer is at the root of these misdirected cancer treatments. The body 
uses its own built-in survival and healing programs to keep cancer under
 control and to let the cancer do its job of mopping up accumulated 
toxins and waste products and to keep itself from spreading or showing 
up in other parts of the body.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;After examining 130 breast cancer tumor 
samples of varying cancer stages and tumor sizes and comparing pericyte 
levels with prognosis, the scientists found that samples with low 
numbers of pericytes in tumors correlated with the most deeply invasive 
cancers, distant metastasis and 5- and 10- year survival rates lower 
than 20 percent.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;To understand the exact mechanism behind
 the drastically increased risk of metastasis that follows drug 
treatment, I recommend you check out their study, which I consider to be
 one of the most important pieces of cancer research ever done. I am 
certainly not the only one to share this belief.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;“These results are quite provocative and
 will influence clinical programs designed to target tumor 
angiogenesis,” says Ronald A. DePinho, president of the University of 
Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. And for Kalluri and his team, the new 
discoveries suggest that certain assumptions about cancer must be 
revisited. “We must go back and audit the tumor and find out which cells
 play a protective role versus which cells promote growth and 
aggression,” says Kalluri. “Not everything is black and white. There are
 some cells inside a tumor that are actually good in certain contexts.”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Cancer’s Lessons To Us&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;To me, it makes no sense at all to use 
cancer-causing drugs and ionizing radiation to shrink malignant tumors 
in the short term while causing existing cancers to become deeply 
invasive and deadly and new cancers to show up in parts of the body 
distant to the original tumor. The shortsightedness of this approach 
seems obvious, and millions of people have fallen into the trap of 
gaining a little, but losing everything.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;With regard to chemotherapy drugs, 
scientists at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center and UAB Department of Chemistry are 
currently (2012) investigating the suspected possibility that dead 
cancer cells left over after chemotherapy spark cancer to spread to 
other parts of the body (metastasis). “What if by killing cancer cells 
with chemotherapy we inadvertently induce DNA structures that make 
surviving cancers cells more invasive? The idea is tough to stomach,” 
Katri Selander, M.D., Ph.D., an assistant professor in the UAB Division 
of Hematology and Oncology and co-principal researcher on the grant, 
said in a statement to the media. Dead cancer cells have already been 
found to activate a pathway in the body mediated as a protein dubbed &lt;i&gt;toll-like receptor 9&lt;/i&gt;,
 or TLR9, that is present in the immune system and in many kinds of 
cancer. “If TLR9 boosts metastasis, then researchers will work on 
finding targeted therapies that block or regulate this molecular 
pathway,” Dr. Selander stated.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;Angiogenic therapy has already been 
implicated with causing deadly metastasis, and chemotherapy is almost 
certainly following in the same track for the same and additional 
reasons.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;A few years ago, a leading oncologist in
 the U.S. contacted me and asked me if liver flushes could help his wife
 who suffered from terminal lung cancer. He told me that during the past
 six years they had tried all the most advanced chemo drugs, to no 
avail. After each round of chemotherapy, more and more malignant tumors 
had developed in the lungs and spread to her liver and bones (now we 
know why). I told him that at this advanced stage, she had nothing to 
lose, but could turn the situation around by ridding the liver, blood 
and tissues of accumulated toxins. This would make tumor growth 
unnecessary.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;The oncologist personally monitored and 
recorded the results of his wife’s first liver flush. He reported back 
to me that she had released an astonishing amount of at least 2,500 
gallstones which kept pouring out of her over a period of three days 
(something that is almost unheard of).&amp;nbsp; Four weeks later, this 
oncologist informed me that the tumors in his wife’s liver and bones had
 completely vanished and there was only one tiny speck of tumor left in 
her left lung. I recommended that she continued doing the liver flushes 
until all stones were gone. He also told me that she became like a new 
person since she did the flush. A life-long constipation was gone, her 
skin rejuvenated and was no longer pale and grayish-looking. She said 
she had regained the energy she used to have 20 years ago and the deep 
depression she had suffered from since her first cancer diagnosis had 
completely lifted.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;I have personally seen cancer patients 
who successfully and naturally reversed their cancers but were then 
talked into taking a round of chemotherapy&amp;nbsp;just to be sure to “get it 
all.” They all died within a day or two of the first treatment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="" align="justify"&gt;The methods of modern medicine don’t 
fight disease, they fight the body. Disease is the body’s way of healing
 itself, and modern treatment is a sure way to impair or even destroy 
this ability.&lt;/p&gt;

				&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&lt;/font&gt;The Purpose of Exercising:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Under normal 
circumstances, exercising one's body would not be necessary. Man, like 
every other animal, was meant to live in nature, have plenty of fresh 
air, and be involved in enough physical activity to keep the body fit 
and vital. Technological and economic advancements, however, have led to
 an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, which requires physical exercise 
to keep our bodies healthy and strong.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The purpose of physical 
exercise is not just to prove to ourselves that we are able to defy the 
aging process, look good, or prevent a heart attack. Exercise also 
enhances our capacity to digest food and eliminate physical and 
emotional impurities.  Furthermore, it increases firmness and 
suppleness, as well as our ability to deal with stressful situations. 
The lymphatic system, especially, which drains toxic and noxious 
substances from the connective tissues of the organs and muscles, 
depends on the daily movement of all the parts of the body. Unlike the 
blood, which has a heart to circulate it around the body, the lymph 
fluid has no such direct pumping device to do the same. The lymphatic 
system heavily relies on the breathing mechanism and how well we use it.
 When the muscle responsible for the breathing action of the lungs 
(diaphragm) extends into the abdomen, it exerts great pressure on the 
intestinal lymph vessels, thereby squeezing their contents. This forces 
the lymph to move through the lymph ducts, such as the thoracic duct. 
Thus, each inhalation and exhalation acts as an indirect pump for the 
lymphatic system. Shallow breathing that results from a sedentary 
lifestyle (and intestinal congestion) has a detrimental effect on proper
 lymph drainage. Exercise can greatly improve lymphatic functions and 
thereby prevent a multitude of diseases.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Physical exercise is a 
great immune-stimulant if done in moderation, and it also improves 
neuromuscular integration in all age groups. Its effect of boosting 
self-confidence and self-esteem stems, to some extent, from the improved
 oxygen supply to the cells and the resulting well-being in all parts of
 the body and mind. Exercise is an excellent means of increasing 
happiness in life, especially if it involves challenges that require 
creativity.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The conventional approach to exercise promotes the 
belief that a good workout takes you to the limits of your endurance, 
leaving you exhausted and tired. This is not true. Exercise that 
exhausts your body is an indirect act of violence that the body 
perceives as a kind of punishment for not performing well enough. The 
pain that shows in people's faces when they struggle through a tough 
workout program is an indication that the body is suffering from 
overexertion. This sort of exercise defeats its purpose. Any form of 
strong physical exertion upsets Vata and causes the secretion of abnormal
 amounts of stress hormones such as adrenaline; this leaves the body 
restless and shaky. The body, thus depleted of energy, is unable to do 
the repair work that arises from the demanding workout, leaving the 
cardiovascular system weak and vulnerable to other stress factors.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Post-exercise
 exhaustion is a serious cause of illness that affects many unsuspecting
 people who think they are doing themselves a favor by pushing their 
bodies to the limit. In the excitement of competitive sports, you may 
not be aware at first how strenuously you are exerting yourself, but 
once the &lt;i&gt;adrenaline&lt;/i&gt; &lt;i&gt;rush&lt;/i&gt; is over, the side effects 
start kicking in. Besides exhaustion and possible injury, professional 
athletes are more likely to suffer from a deficient immune system, which
 makes the body prone to infections and other ailments. For this reason,
 athletes consume a much larger quantity of prescribed drugs than the 
average person does. The thymus gland, which activates &lt;i&gt;lymphocytes&lt;/i&gt;
 and controls energy supplies, may actually shrink in size and leave the
 body weak and debilitated as a direct result of over conditioning the 
body and stressing the mind.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Exercise According to the Doshas:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Exercise is best done according to one's capacity and psycho-physiological body type. A &lt;b&gt;Vata&lt;/b&gt;
 type, who has the lowest capacity for exercise, benefits mostly from 
such easy ways of keeping fit as walking, dancing, bicycling, taking 
short hikes, balancing and stretching. Vatas generally do well with 
Yoga, Tai Chi, and Chi Kung. Since Vata types experience energy in 
bursts, they should be particularly careful not to overexert themselves.
 When their energy suddenly drops, they can feel depleted for a long 
time afterward. This often results in depression.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Pitta&lt;/b&gt;
 types, being competitive by nature, are equipped with more drive and 
energy than Vatas. They generally are not satisfied with the more 
ordinary forms of working out. To achieve physical satisfaction, they 
need a more goal-oriented exercise program. However, they also do not 
have boundless energy and are better off exercising in moderation.Pittas
 feel challenged by hiking in the mountains, skiing, jogging, swimming, 
playing tennis or engaging in other sports that generate in them a sense
 of achievement.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In sports, you can easily recognize the 
unbalanced Pitta types. They are often bad losers and may get angry if 
they feel they are 'not good enough'. Pittas who get angry while 
performing should look for a less competitive exercise program to 
increase their level of satisfaction. Since excessive heat is a sign of 
unbalanced Pitta, swimming, which has a cooling influence, is one of the
 best forms of exercise for them. A walk in the cool forest is another 
excellent way to pacify an unbalanced Pitta type.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Kapha &lt;/b&gt;types
 are the ideal candidates for a good or moderately heavy workout. Weight
 training, running, rowing, some aerobics, long distance bicycling, 
dancing for a long time, playing football, basketball and tennis are all
 very suitable for a Kapha. The Kapha type's steady energy gives him the
 necessary endurance and stamina to last through long competitive games 
without feeling tired. Exercise will clear out any excessive Kapha 
congestion, remove excessive water and fat, and improve general 
circulation. This will leave him feeling refreshed and buoyant 
afterward.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Basic Guidelines for Healthy Exercise:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It
 is best not to exercise at more than 50 percent of your capacity, 
whatever that means to you. The purpose of exercising is not to prove to
 others how capable you are, but to derive personal benefit and 
satisfaction from it. If you are able to run for 30 minutes before you 
are tired, then make the choice to run for only 15 minutes. Getting 
tired during exercise defeats its very purpose. Feeling refreshed, 
revitalized and energetic afterward indicates that the workout has been 
successful. In due time, your capacity for exercise will naturally 
increase on its own.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Stop exercising when you feel the need to 
breathe through the mouth. Once you are forced to breathe through the 
mouth, rather than through the nose, you have gone beyond the 50 percent
 threshold of your capacity for exercise at that time. This is a sign 
that your body has moved into the adrenaline-breathing mode, which uses 
up your basic energy reserves and depletes cellular oxygen. You have 
reached your limit when you feel your heart pounding violently, you 
begin to sweat profusely, or your body shakes. In that case it is good 
to finish off with a short period of walking and breathing normally. The
 basic rule is always to breathe through the nose and not through the 
mouth. Exercise to the point of perspiration once a day.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You need 
good, strong muscles to meet the typical demands of the day, such as 
climbing stairs, carrying groceries, picking up young children, cleaning
 your home, riding horseback, swimming in a lake, going for a hike or 
bike ride, or performing other natural activities, without being at risk
 for injury. The best way to increase muscle tone and strength is to 
quickly raise heart and muscle activity to the point of panting, 
followed by a period of low activity (called 'active recovery'). One to 
two-minute intervals (of activity and rest) are ideal. Doing this for 
10-20 minutes per day has more benefits than engaging in hours of 
strenuous exercise. Besides, it increases muscle tone, lung capacity and
 heart health. During the panting phases, the body uses up its complex 
sugar reserves in the muscles. For those who desire weight loss, this 
method causes you to lose weight after exercising, as the body tries to 
replenish its lost sugar reserves by breaking down fat deposits while 
you are resting. Weight loss achieved during strenuous endurance 
exercise programs, on the other hand, tends to be reversed because the 
body tries to quickly replenish the lost fat deposits in order to 
prepare itself for the next energy-depleting round of exercise. The body
 perceives the strenuous exercise as a threat.  Vata and Pitta types are
 those who are affected most negatively by strenuous exercise. Pure 
Kapha types are the only people who can benefit from it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It is 
best to exercise during daylight hours. The best capacity for exercise 
is available during the Kapha period in the morning (6:00-10:00 a.m.) 
and at the end of the Vata period in the afternoon (5:00-6:00 p.m.). The
 benefits of exercise increase dramatically when it is done in sunlight.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ayurveda
 discourages exercising after sundown. Allow the body to slow down in 
the evening and prepare itself for a restful and rejuvenating sleep. 
Never exercise just before or after a meal, as this impairs AGNI, the 
digestive fire, and causes indigestion. However, walking for 15 minutes 
after meals works as a good digestive aid. Always drink water before and
 after exercising to prevent the blood from thickening and the cells 
from becoming dehydrated.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;A note of caution about aerobic exercise&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;: &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The medical journal, &lt;i&gt;Lancet&lt;/i&gt;,
 reported that aerobic exercise can cause deadly arterial clogging and 
heart disease in those who had never before had heart trouble. According
 to &lt;i&gt;The American Journal of Cardiology&lt;/i&gt;, jogging has similarly 
caused some runners to drop dead from heart attacks. Their autopsies 
show severe coronary artery disease. Any regular, strenuous form of 
exercise actually does about as much damage to your heart as continuous 
stress does. The heart literally comes under constant attack via the 
excessive exercise sessions. Marathon runners are known to lose muscle 
mass, both in the heart and the rest of the body. Many have dropped dead
 just after reaching the finishing line. Short distance sprinters, on 
the other hand, develop healthy muscles and strong hearts.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Vigorous
 weight training can be equally damaging. It leads to abnormally 
enlarged, bloated muscle fibers that actually become dysfunctional and 
prone to injuries. Over-sized muscles constantly use up a lot of precious
 energy (complex sugar reserves), energy that your body requires for its
 more important activities. Weight training also adds excessive muscle 
tissue to parts of the body where it was never designed to be, thus 
hindering natural patterns of movement. Lifting heavy weights can also 
raise your blood pressure and increase the risk of strokes and 
aneurysms. By nature, the human body was not made to deal with the 
additional gravitational force imposed upon it while lifting heavy 
weights. Frequently stressing the joints, muscles and tendons causes 
them to age prematurely. Excessive weight training can cause permanent

				&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&lt;/font&gt;Did you ever wonder what microwaves can do to water, food and 
your body? Russian researchers have found decreased nutritional value, 
cancer-making compounds and brain-damaging radiolytics in virtually all 
microwave-prepared foods. Eating microwave-prepared meals can also cause
 loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability and a decline in 
intelligence, according to the research. The Russian scientists also 
found decreased nutritional value - or significant dimming of their 
'vital energy field' - in up to 90 percent of all microwave-prepared 
foods.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In addition, the B complex, C and E vitamins linked with 
stress-reduction and the prevention of cancer and heart disease, as well
 as the essential trace minerals needed for optimum brain and body 
functioning, were all rendered useless by microwaves, even at short 
cooking durations. Microwave-cooked food is basically reduced to the 
nutritional equivalent of cardboard. If you don't want to develop 
nutrient deficiencies, you may be better off throwing this appliance out
 of your kitchen. The radiation has been found to accumulate in the 
kitchen furniture, becoming a constant source of radiation in itself.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Microwave
 usage in the preparation of food has been found to lead to lymphatic 
disorders and an inability to protect the body against certain cancers. 
The research found increased rates of cancer cell formation in the blood
 of people eating microwave-cooked meals. The Russians also reported 
increased rates of stomach and intestinal cancers, as well as digestive 
and excretive disorders, plus a higher percentage of cell tumors, 
including sarcoma.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Microwaves rip apart the molecular bonds that 
make food to be 'food'. Microwave ovens hurl high-frequency microwaves 
that boil the moisture within food and its packaging by whipsawing water
 molecules dizzyingly back-and-forth at more than a billion reversals 
per second. This frantic friction fractures food molecules, rearranging 
their chemical composition into weird new configurations unrecognizable 
as food by human bodies. By destroying the molecular structures of food,
 the body cannot help but turn the food into waste, but not harmless 
waste, rather, 'nuclear waste'.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Other side effects of microwaves 
than just making food useless and 'wasteful' include high blood 
pressure, migraine, dizziness, stomach pain, anxiety, hair loss, 
appendicitis, cataracts, reproductive disorders, adrenaline exhaustion, 
heart disease, memory loss, attention disorders, increased crankiness, 
depression, disconnected thoughts, sleep disturbance and brain damage.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Eating
 microwave-damaged foods can lead to a considerable stress response in 
the body, and thereby, alter the blood chemistry. While eating organic 
vegetables zapped by microwaves, you will send your cholesterol soaring.
 According to Swiss scientist Hertel, "Blood cholesterol levels are less
 influenced by cholesterol content of the food than by stress factors." 
The Russian government had banned microwave ovens for over 50 years, but
 they were recently introduced to the Russian market (for 'economic' 
reasons). Microwave ovens have taken over the cooking chores in nine out
 of ten American homes, and American and Chinese microwave manufacturers
 hope that the same will happen in Russia.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Reporting for the 
Forensic Research Document of AREC Research, William P. Kopp now states:
 "The effects of microwaved food byproducts are long-term, permanent 
within the human body. Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all 
microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little
 or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot 
be broken down."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In a classical experiment 2,000 cats were given 
only food and water that were previously placed in the microwave oven, 
even for just one minute. The foods selected were the most nutritious 
and natural ones available. Within six weeks, all cats mysteriously 
died. While investigating the surprising result of the test, it was 
discovered that, although the cats looked well fed, the cells in their 
bodies virtually contained no trace of nutrient-components. The cats 
literally starved to death, despite all the nutritious foods. Microwaves
 turned their food into deadly poison. Seeing the unprecedented sickness
 epidemic in the U.S. and other countries that largely rely on 
microwaves to cook their foods, it may be wise if we followed the 
example of some countries where healthy cooking methods are still 
mainstream, such as Russia, Greece, Italy and France, as well as most

				&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&lt;/font&gt;Is Cow's Milk Meant for Human Consumption?&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Dairy
 milk has become a major target of criticism over the past few years due
 to its long lists of negative side effects. More and more health 
practitioners report that patients are allergic to dairy products or 
suffer from food intolerance to milk-containing foods. Eczema, asthma, 
migraine, constipation, hay fever, arthritis, stomach trouble, lymph 
edema, heart disease and testicular cancer are all linked with high 
consumption of dairy products.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One such case was Tim who had just 
turned 11 years old when his parents brought him to see me. He had 
developed asthma when he was five months old. The former treatment 
consisted of three different types of drugs, including &lt;i&gt;cortisone&lt;/i&gt;
 and an inhaler. The boy's condition worsened steadily and he developed 
herpes and other symptoms of high toxicity. Six months before his visit 
to me, Tim had caught a cold, which was treated with antibiotics. Since 
then his lungs showed strong signs of congestion. He complained about 
being tired all the time and unable to run or play with his friends. 
Kinesiology muscle testing revealed that Tim was highly allergic to milk
 or milk products. His parents confirmed that by the age of five months 
he was no longer breastfed but was instead given infant milk formula.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tim's
 asthma was caused by his body's inability to break down the protein of 
cow's milk. The fragments of undigested protein caused a strong immune 
response aggravating the entire mucus lining from the anus to the lungs.
 His condition was chronic because he consumed large quantities of 
animal protein, including milk and dairy products throughout his young 
life. After two weeks of abstinence from these foods, his asthma and 
herpes subsided and have never recurred since.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Could it be that 
cow's milk is meant only for calves just as cat's milk is meant only for
 kittens? Would we consider feeding our babies with, for example, dog's 
milk instead of human breast milk? The ratio of nutrients contained in 
dog's milk does not suit human requirements. Yet the same applies to 
cow's milk. Cow's milk contains three times as much protein, and almost 
four times as much calcium as human mother's milk. These amounts are 
unsuitable for the human physiology at any age.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cow's milk is 
designed to contain the exact amount of calcium and protein necessary to
 feed a calf that will end up being at least 3-4 times larger than the 
human body is. If we gave human breast milk to a calf, it would not grow
 strong enough even to survive. By contrast, human babies require more 
carbohydrates in the beginning stages of their lives than calves do. For
 this reason, in comparison to human mother's milk, cow's milk contains 
only half the amount of carbohydrates. Calves on the other hand require 
much more salt than human babies do; naturally, salt content in cow's 
milk is three times higher than in human milk. It is for a good reason 
that most of the original populations living in Asia, Africa, Australia,
 and South America don't regard cow's milk as a food fit for human 
consumption.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Once weaned, mammals no longer look for milk to 
satisfy their hunger or thirst. If human babies, who have been breastfed
 for 14-18 months, were given the option of choosing from various types 
of natural and suitable foods, two out of three would no longer want 
breast milk as a food, according to classic study. Babies who are fed 
with cow's milk tend to look puffy, bloated and fat. It is not uncommon 
for 1-year olds to have gallstones in the liver as a result of drinking,
 and not digesting, cow's milk. Many of them suffer from colic, gas, and
 bloating, which makes them cry and develop sleeping disorders. Other 
problems include tonsillitis, ear-infections, breathing difficulties, 
excessive mucus discharge and drooling from the mouth.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Michael 
Klaper, M.D., and author of Vegan Nutrition: Pure &amp;amp; Simple, 
summarized the milk controversy as follows: "The human body has no more 
need for cows' milk than it does for dogs' milk, horses' milk, or 
giraffes' milk."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Milk&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;-caused Osteoporosis&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Since
 milk intolerance is becoming increasingly common among all age groups 
in the Western world, nutritionists and doctors are starting to suspect 
that cow's milk may not be such a natural food for humans after all.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Milk
 is a highly mucus-forming food that can cause irritation and congestion
 throughout the gastrointestinal tract. If regularly consumed, milk can 
leave an increasingly hardening and almost impermeable coating on the 
inside of the intestinal membranes. This restricts absorption of 
nutrients, including the calcium, magnesium and zinc needed to form 
bones. It is virtually impossible to successfully treat people with 
natural medicines as long as they continue to clog up their digestive 
systems with milk or dairy foods; the medicines are not able to 
penetrate the hardened layer of mucus in the intestines.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Most 
people wouldn't drink milk if they weren't so influenced by the myth 
that milk is essential for the bones. If you are prone to osteoporosis, 
or osteoarthritis, then consider the following facts:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Cow's
 milk may be very rich in calcium but its high calcium to magnesium 
ratio can make it difficult to absorb. In certain people or body types, 
the calcium may be deposited in places where it is not required, hence, 
the development of calcification of bones and other parts of the body.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Most of the calcium contained in cow's milk is bound by the milk chemical &lt;i&gt;casein&lt;/i&gt;, which makes it far too crude for proper absorption by the human intestinal membranes. Cow's milk contains 300 times more &lt;i&gt;casein&lt;/i&gt;
 than human milk. You can get more absorbable calcium out of 6-8 almonds
 or a teaspoon of molasses than you can get from one liter of cow's 
milk.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;There is quantitatively more phosphorus in cow's milk than there is 
calcium. To metabolize that much phosphorus, the body requires extra 
amounts of calcium, which it extracts from the bones, teeth and muscles.
 This leads to calcium deficiency in these parts of the body. To 
compensate the sudden loss of calcium, the body tries to mobilize more 
of it. As mentioned before, the body has several methods to manufacture 
the much-needed mineral. If the body depended totally on external 
supplies of calcium, 80 percent of today's population would have lost at
 least one third of their bone mass by the age of 30. Because of this 
self-regulating mechanism, we are able to survive even extremely poor 
diets with very little calcium intake. We can even fast on distilled 
water for several weeks without developing a calcium deficiency 
(distilled water removes calcium from the body). Yet if the consumption 
of dairy foods continues for a long time, the calcium reserves get 
depleted faster than they can be replenished, leading to damage of the 
bone tissue.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Milk proteins contain about three times the amount of 
sulphur-containing amino acids than proteins from vegetable origin. 
Regular consumption of milk and dairy products would turn the blood 
acidic and kill it if the body didn't mobilize large amounts of minerals
 to save itself from acid death. Yet, in the long term, this emergency 
measure leads to demineralization of the tissues and organs, and 
subsequent acidosis. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Storage of excessive amounts of milk protein in the connective 
tissues and basal membranes of the capillaries reduces the diffusion of 
essential minerals and vitamins to the tissues of the body. This causes a
 depletion of nutrients in the tissues, especially of those that form 
the bones and joints. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cows maintain strong and hardy
 bones and teeth throughout their lives and get most of their calcium 
from the greens they eat. Gorillas, elephants and other strong animals 
also don't suffer from osteoporosis. Occasionally they lick on 
limestone, but this is certainly not enough to supply the large 
quantities of calcium they require to build and rebuild their heavy 
skeletons. If milk were the most useful and important source of calcium 
for grown animals then nature would certainly have designed ways of 
supplying them with milk throughout their lives. But as it turns out, 
they have access to milk only at the beginning stages of their lives.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The
 human body requires large amounts of bile to digest whole milk. 
Drinking whole milk regularly can eventually exhaust the liver's 
bile-producing capacity. Drinking low fat milk makes matters worse. Low 
fat milk requires less bile to digest the fat contained in the milk, yet
 milk protein cannot be digested without the naturally high 
concentrations of milk fat. Added to that, without sufficient bile, 
calcium cannot be properly digested or absorbed either. The large 
amounts of undigested milk protein increase acidity in the body and the 
unused crude milk calcium can cause calcification of joints, arteries 
and kidneys. This can make protein foods with lowered fat-content 
hazardous to health.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Leafy green vegetables contain four times 
more calcium than whole milk. There is also plenty of calcium in 
almonds, black molasses, sesame seeds, broccoli, Brazil nuts, millet, 
oats and citrus fruits. The calcium contained in these foods is readily 
absorbed by the human digestive system, provided the digestive system 
functions efficiently. Osteoporosis and osteoarthritis are basically 
metabolic disorders that are caused by severe congestion and an 
unbalanced diet/lifestyle, and almost never by insufficient calcium 
intake. Osteoporosis is virtually unknown in such places as Africa where
 people eat far fewer proteins than those living in developed countries.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Milk Consumption Linked to Diabetes and Allergies&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Initial studies on diabetes revealed that the frequency of &lt;i&gt;insulin dependent diabetes&lt;/i&gt;
 is linked to breast-feeding. The longer children were breastfed by 
their mothers, the less was their risk of developing diabetes later in 
life. The interpretation of this finding was revised, however, after it 
was found that children who are fed with cow's milk formula rather than 
with mother's milk were the most likely candidates for diabetes. More 
precise studies revealed that diabetics have a striking number of 
antibodies against a particular protein in their blood.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Diabetes 
is considered an 'autoimmune disease' which means that the body 
supposedly directs its defenses against itself. The particular protein 
that the body tries to combat here comes from the whey of cow's milk. If
 the milk protein becomes lodged in the body's connective tissues, it is
 only natural for the body's immune cells (white cells) to attack and 
remove it. The fact that this response by the immune system inflames the
 cells surrounding these tissues (which is essential for healing) should
 not be misconstrued to be an autoimmune disease.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ever since cow's
 milk has been used to make cheese, whey, which is a waste product of 
cheese production, has been fed to pigs. This practice continued even 
after scientists attributed great nutritional value to whey. Since 
nobody really liked drinking this 'precious' ingredient of milk it was 
mixed in with foods. This 'coincided' with a dramatic increase in 
allergies in the developed world. Scientists have discovered that the &lt;i&gt;beta-casein&lt;/i&gt;
 (a particular protein) in cow's milk can trigger an immune response 
that may, in turn, cross-react with an antigen to cause an allergic 
reaction. An allergy is the body's response to fight a substance that it
 considers dangerous to its health and survival.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Today, millions 
of people in the Western Hemisphere are suffering from allergies caused 
by milk or products that contain milk powder or whey. Perhaps this is 
the reason most populations in the world avoid drinking cow's milk. The 
current 'allergy epidemic' in developed countries may have well been 
caused by the 'miracle food' whey which is added to so many food 
products, including children's foods, fresh cheese, ready-made soups, 
diet foods, etc. We are practically infested by this milk protein unless
 we live off purely natural foods.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Watch out for the Milk&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt; Hormone &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;Bovine somatotrophin &lt;/i&gt;(BST)
 is a hormone which, when fed to cows, can increase their milk yield by 
20-30 percent. In the United States, BST was licensed by the American 
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1994. This effectively gave 
farmers the legal permission to treat their herds with the controversial
 hormone. The license was accompanied with a new labeling policy, 
previously unheard of in the United States. Traditional dairy farmers 
are prohibited from labeling their milk as 'hormone free' - while those 
using the hormone are not required to say that they use BST. Because 
uncontrolled hormone intake is linked to a number of serious health 
problems, there has been great concern among farmers who use BST that 
people would prefer the natural milk to the hormone treated one. Their 
pressure ensured the above legislation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The granting of a license 
to increase milk production through hormones comes at a time when milk 
production is already much higher than is milk consumption. Most 
industrialized nations destroy enormous quantities of milk and butter to
 manipulate the prices with no regard to the cows' health. Cows are 
naturally made to produce a certain amount of milk according to the 
demand from their offspring. The hormone-induced artificial increase of 
milk yield causes a number of cow's diseases that are met by 
administering large quantities of antibiotics. The drug's poisons seep 
into the milk and its products. How much a cow must be suffering when 
its udder is being extended to beyond it natural capacity is not even 
considered an issue.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Is Milk&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt; Bad&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt; for Everyone? &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cow's
 milk is the food used to raise cows. Drinking the milk from another 
species is less than ideal. Under normal circumstances, you will not 
find young animals going around and begging other animals to give them 
some of their milk. Any adverse reactions to partaking of the milk of 
another species are to be expected. However, if milk causes allergies or
 other diseases why doesn't everyone who regularly consumes cow's milk 
suffer from the same problems? One reason may be that they don't remove 
the fat from the milk. Left unaltered, cow's milk is completely balanced
 regarding its natural ingredients. By removing one essential part of 
the milk, that is, fat, the milk protein can no longer be digested 
completely, hence there will be a 'leftover' of undigested and 
irritating proteins that the body's immune system begins to combat and 
get rid of.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In my practice I have found that persons who are of 
Vata constitution seem to digest and metabolize milk much better than 
Kapha types, provided it is fresh, whole fat, and boiled before 
consumption (Pasteurizing of milk differs from boiling it in that is 
uses an extremely high temperature, namely, 285 degrees F (141 degrees 
C). Vata types often suffer from dryness, lightness and coldness. The 
mucus-producing effect of milk may help lubricate their intestinal 
lining, which has the tendency to be dry. The milk's heavy and warming 
qualities may pacify Vata and thereby outweigh some negative effects 
that milk may have for other body types. Healthy Vata types and, to a 
certain extent, healthy Pitta types seem to produce more of the specific
 digestive enzymes, which are used to break down milk proteins, than 
Kapha types.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In Kapha types, milk protein remains undigested and 
can trigger allergic reactions with intense mucus irritation and sinus 
congestion. The Kapha's blood vessel walls tend to clog up quickly with 
excessive proteins as a result of overeating dairy foods or meat. This 
may explain why this particular body type is more prone to obesity and 
congestive heart failure than the Vata type.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Once milk is 
pasteurized, i.e. ultra heat-treated, its natural enzyme population is 
destroyed. Yet the enzymes are needed to make the milk nutrients 
available to the body cells. Newly born calves die within six months 
when fed with pasteurized cow's milk. One can only imagine the turmoil 
that must be going on in the tiny intestinal tract of a baby who is fed 
with pasteurized milk or sterilized milk formula. As mentioned before, 
such babies usually develop colic, become bloated and chubby, discharge 
mucus, catch colds frequently, are restless, and cry a lot. The best 
advice is to breastfeed as long as is possible, avoid dairy-based 
formulas altogether, use alternatives such as coconut milk (the closest 
to human milk) as well as some almond milk, hemp milk or rice milk; and 
give freshly mashed fruits, vegetables and rice when the baby is ready 
to eat solids.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Boiling fresh, non-pasteurized milk before 
consumption seems to have a beneficial effect. Milk protein begins to 
break down into amino acids during boiling, which makes it easier to 
digest and absorb. This may be one of the reasons why Indians always 
boil their milk before use. They also know that milk has adverse effects
 when its fat is removed. For some reason, milk protein, unlike egg or 
meat protein doesn't coagulate when heated. In addition, many of the 
milk's enzymes survive. To preserve milk and to kill any existing germs 
Indians simply put a silver coin or a silver spoon in the milk. Silver 
is strongly anti-bacterial. And to avoid mucus congestion, they put 2-3 
pinches of either turmeric or dry ginger into the milk before boiling 
it. Whereas boiling the milk helps to reduce some its irritating effect 
in Vata and Pitta types, pasteurizing it upsets all the three &lt;i&gt;doshas.&lt;/i&gt; Kapha types don't do well with milk at all; they develop mucus congestion almost right away.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cold
 milk is very difficult to digest. As the cold milk touches the warm 
stomach lining, the nerve endings of the stomach become "numb" or 
insensitive, and its cells tighten or shrink. This inhibits the 
secretion of gastric juices, which is required to digest milk protein. 
The cold condition of the milk may even be responsible for leaving those
 proteins undigested that are known to cause allergic reactions. Enzymes
 require a specific temperature to be able act on the food; if the 
temperature is too low the proteins will not be broken down properly, 
hence the intense irritation of the mucus lining. Vata types who are 
very sensitive to cold are rarely attracted to taking milk in cold form 
(from the refrigerator). Pittas often have an excessively high 
temperature in their stomach, which gets lowered only slightly by cold 
milk. Consequently Pittas are still able to secret a good amount of 
gastric juices to digest some of the milk proteins. But if they take 
milk cold on a regular basis, their AGNI or digestive power also begins 
to be affected.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you have access to fresh, full-fat, and 
non-pasteurized milk and if you are a Vata or Pitta type with no Kapha 
imbalance (signs of excessive mucus in chest, nose or sinuses), you may 
use milk in moderation by applying the above procedures of preparation. 
If milk still causes you mucus, then it is simply a 'no-food' for you. I
 personally have not yet met a person who hasn't shown signs of 
congestion and irritation as a result of milk consumption, especially in
 the United States. In all the U.S. with the exception of California, 
Washington and Georgia, it is illegal to sell whole, raw milk, despite 
the fact that raw milk contains far less potentially harmful bacteria 
than pasteurized, homogenized milk. Pasteurized, homogenized milk does 
not qualify as food per se. The homogenization process breaks up an 
enzyme (xanthine oxidase), which in its altered (smaller) state can 
enter the bloodstream and react against arterial walls, causing the body
 to protect the area with a layer of cholesterol.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The demand for 
raw, non-pasteurized milk is booming. According to Sally Fallon, 
president for the Weston A. Price Foundation, the number of raw milk 
drinkers is now at about half a million people across the United States -
 many of them willingly breaking the law, purchasing their milk from 
'underground black markets' and other creative setups. Raw milk comes 
with its own risks. Even if the cows grow up on organic farms, their 
milk bladders are constantly filled and extended, day after day, month 
after month, year after year. A continuous process of milk production 
(lactation) is unnatural for any animal. The resulting repeated injuries
 of the bladder wall leads to infections and inflammation, and a lot of 
dead cells (pus). Millions of units of pus are found in every quart of 
milk, especially in older cows. It is irrelevant whether the milk is raw
 or pasteurized; the dead cells remain in the milk. However, since 
bacteria are attracted to dead cells, and raw milk is not pasteurized, 
the latter is more susceptible to bacterial contamination.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In July
 2007, the U.S. Department of Agriculture tested raw milk from 861 farms
 in 21 states. According to their report, nearly a quarter of the 
samples contained illness-causing bacteria, including five percent with 
listeria, three percent with salmonella, and four percent with less 
dangerous types of E. coli. Regardless of the real figures of 
contamination, either type of milk comes with its own risks. Again, if 
you are not sure about milk's health benefits for you, apply the muscle 
test and your body may give you some good clues about it. Or take a look
 at your tongue in the morning after consuming milk or cheese the day 
before. If it is coated white, you should avoid them. A white coating on
 the tongue indicates mucus aggravation in the gut, which in turn 
reflects turmoil in the digestive system.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In my own case, eating 
lots of raw whole milk and cheese led to years of painful juvenile 
rheumatoid arthritis, constipation, lymphatic congestion, heart disease,
 anemia and a lot of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder. Soon after

not its causes, you may need to take your health into you own hands. 
Foods have an almost immediate effect on the body. In fact, it is known 
that the body's biochemistry changes within several minutes of eating a 
meal.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you eat something that is outright harmful to you, your 
stomach will signal indigestion. Some foods can be even more damaging 
than just causing heartburn. Research has shown that eating meat in the 
evening can trigger a heart attack in the morning.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Here are the common guidelines about a healthy diet and eating habits according to the principles of Ayurveda: 
&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;A half teaspoon of grated ginger taken with a pinch of salt is an 
excellent appetizer and kindles AGNI, the digestive fire. Splashing cool
 water over your face, neck, and hands before meals also stimulates 
AGNI.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Eat in a settled environment and quiet atmosphere, with a settled 
mind. Your company and environment should be pleasant. Do not work, 
listen to music, read or watch TV during meals.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Always sit down to eat. Eat at roughly the same times each day.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Eat neither too quickly nor too slowly (about 20 minutes) and without interruption.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Eat to about ¾ of your stomach capacity at your biggest meal; this 
equals the amount of your two cupped hands full. Ideally, one third of 
the meal should consist of liquid food of a soupy consistency.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Avoid eating a meal or snack before the previous meal has been 
digested, unless it is a piece of fruit. Allow approximately 3 to 6 
hours between meals, depending upon the types of food consumed.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;If you desire to drink anything with your meals, it is best to sip a
 little hot or warm water. Also avoid drinking large quantities of 
liquids right before and within the first 2 hours after meals.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Drinking excessive amounts of water (3-4 liters a day) may produce 
obesity, kidney disorders and mineral/vitamin deficiencies, whereas 
drinking too little water causes dehydration. To meet the minimum 
requirements for water, drink 6-8 glasses of water (at room temperature 
or warm) each day. You may need to increase the amount during hot, dry 
weather, when exercising or during stressful times in your life. If the 
color of your urine is dark yellow, drink more water; if colorless, 
drink less.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Consuming cold foods, such as ice cream, and drinking iced beverages
 may reduce your resistance to disease, impair AGNI and cause mucus 
congestion.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;The diet should be balanced by including all six tastes - sweet, 
sour, salty, pungent (spices), bitter and astringent - in at least one 
meal per day. However, check the previous section concerning specific 
taste requirements and physiological needs or imbalances for your 
particular body type.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;It is best not to heat or cook with honey; heat destroys it and makes it toxic.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Never eat just before going to bed. To avoid developing sleeping 
disorders, there should be at least three hours between eating and 
sleeping. If your bedtime is 10:00 p.m., eat no later than 6:00 p.m.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Chew your food thoroughly - the digestive process starts in the mouth.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ayurveda does not favor the intake of too much raw food like raw 
vegetables, uncooked oat flakes, uncooked grains, etc. Fruits are an 
exception as they are already 'cooked' or ripened by the sun. The Pitta 
type is the only one among the body types who is able to digest more raw
 foods.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;It is best not to eat when the mind is dominated by strong emotions 
such as anger, worry or sorrow. Wait until it has become more settled, 
since the digestive system does not work under stress.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Sleeping after meals causes sluggishness and increases Kapha and 
body weight. However, it is good to rest for about 10 minutes after 
meals and, if possible, to go for a 10 to 15 minute walk.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Food should always be delicious and pleasing to the senses and should be prepared by a happy cook.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div style="overflow: hidden;"&gt;&lt;br&gt;

				&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&lt;/font&gt;Heart attacks can occur in a number of ways: &lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;The
 connective tissues surrounding the heart cells may become so densely 
congested that the heart cells simply die a painless death of 
suffocation.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;An angina attack may occur, meaning that acidification and low oxygenation have destroyed the heart muscles.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;The basal membranes of the capillaries and arteries are blocked and 
can no longer supply oxygen to the heart. A heart attack then occurs at 
the location where the storage capacity for protein was first exceeded.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;A blood clot breaks loose from a congested and injured blood vessel,
 enters the heart and blocks its oxygen supply. The same scenario can 
cause a stroke.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Research Questions Value of Opening Arteries&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The
 emerging understanding of the causes of heart attack raises the 
question of the value or usefulness of opening blocked arteries. For one
 thing, the increasingly popular aggressive treatments of opening 
arteries with bypass surgery, angioplasty and stints do little or 
nothing to prevent the recurrence of an occlusion. Although bypass 
surgery was found to extend the lives of some patients with severe 
illness,it does nothing to prevent heart attacks. As we shall see, heart
 attacks don't occur because of an arterial blockage, as most people 
assume, but because of one of the four reasons mentioned above. Overall,
 none of the currently used surgical procedures have been shown to 
significantly lower the mortality rate from heart disease.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One of 
the main reasons for the poor success rate of these treatments is that 
the majority of heart attacks do not originate with obstructions that 
narrow arteries. To tackle the heart disease epidemic, which is 
spreading like wildfire in most industrialized nations and now also in 
developing nations, we need to rely mostly on preventative strategies. 
However, these approaches cost next to nothing and are therefore not 
financially lucrative for those in charge of health care. The 
preventative measures include eating less protein, regular exercise, 
early bedtimes, regular mealtimes and balanced meals, drinking enough 
water, avoiding junk foods, giving up smoking, reducing alcohol 
consumption, removing stress sources, etc.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The old model of 
understanding heart disease is rapidly falling apart, much to the 
surprise of heart specialists. "There has been a culture in cardiology 
that the narrowings were the problem and that if you fix them the 
patient does better," said Dr. David Waters, a cardiologist at the 
University of California at San Francisco. This theory made so much 
sense to the surgeons, cardiologists and laypeople that for decades 
hardly anyone questioned it, except those few (including myself) who 
were more interested in discovering the true causes of heart disease. 
The newest scientific discoveries now finally expose this theory's major
 flaws, with little room for discussion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Until recently,it was 
believed that coronary disease evolved like sludge building up in a 
pipe. Plaque accumulates slowly, over decades, and once a coronary 
artery is blocked completely, no blood can get through to the heart and 
the patient suffers a heart attack. In order to prevent this catastrophe
 from happening, the most apparent rational "solution" to this problem 
was to perform bypass surgery or angioplasty to replace or open the 
narrowed artery before it would close completely. The assumption that 
this would avert heart attacks and prolong life seemed indisputable. But
 as medical research shows, this theory is no longer valid (it actually 
never was) and therefore, is misleading. A study published in the &lt;i&gt;New England Journal of Medicine&lt;/i&gt; by the &lt;i&gt;Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Cooperative Study Group &lt;/i&gt;clearly
 demonstrated that the three-year survival rate for heart disease 
patients undergoing bypass surgery is almost the same as for patients 
who have no surgery.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;According to numerous heart disease studies, 
most heart attacks do not occur because an artery is narrowed by plaque.
 Instead, researchers say, heart attacks occur when an area of plaque 
bursts in a coronary artery, causing formation of blood clots that 
abruptly block blood flow to the heart. In fact, in 75 to 80 percent of 
cases, the hardened plaque obstructing an artery is not a culprit and 
should not even be considered for bypass surgery or stinting. The most 
dangerous type of plaque is soft and fragile. It produces no symptoms 
and would not even be seen as an obstruction to blood flow. The soft, 
newly-formed patches of plaque are much more likely to break off than 
old, hard ones; and when they do, blood clots are formed that enter the 
heart, causing a heart attack. Therefore, creating a bypass around the 
hardened parts of an artery does nothing to lower the risk of a future 
heart attack. For this reason, many heart attacks occur in people who 
don't have any arterial occlusions. Accordingly, a person may have no 
problem jogging one day, but suffer a heart attack (or stroke) the next 
day. If a narrowed artery were the culprit, the person would not even be
 able to exercise due to severe chest pain or breathing restriction.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Most
 heart patients have hundreds of vulnerable plaque sites in their 
arteries. Since it is impossible to replace all these injured, 
plaque-ridden sections, the currently applied interventional procedures 
are unable to prevent heart attacks. Regardless, this doesn't mean that 
fewer bypasses or stint operations are performed. The multi-billion 
dollar stint business seems, in fact, unstoppable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Heart 
researchers and some cardiologists are becoming increasingly frustrated 
with the fact that their findings are not being taken seriously enough 
by the health practitioners and their patients. "There is just this 
embedded belief that fixing an artery is a good thing," said Dr. Eric 
Topol, an interventional cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. 
It has almost become fashionable to have one's arteries fixed, just in 
case. Dr. Topol points out that more and more people with no symptoms 
are now getting stints. In 2004, over one million Americans opted for a 
stint operation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Although many doctors know that the old heart 
disease theory no longer holds true, they feel pressured to open blocked
 arteries anyway, regardless of whether patients have symptoms or not. 
Dr. David Hillis, an interventional cardiologist at the University of 
Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, explained: "If you're an 
invasive cardiologist and Joe Smith, the local internist, is sending you
 patients, and if you tell them they don't need the procedure, pretty 
soon Joe Smith doesn't send patients any more. Sometimes you can talk 
yourself into doing it even though in your heart of hearts you don't 
think it's right."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;According to Dr. Topol, a patient typically 
goes to a cardiologist with a vague complaint like indigestion or 
shortness of breath, or because a scan of the heart indicated calcium 
deposits or a buildup of plaque. Doing his job, the cardiologist follows
 the standard procedures and puts the patient in the cardiac 
catheterization room, examining the arteries with an angiogram. If you 
live in a developed country like America and are middle-aged or older, 
you are most likely to have arteriosclerosis, and the angiogram will 
show a narrowing. It won't take much convincing to tell you that you 
need a stint. "It's this train where you can't get off at any station 
along the way," Dr. Topol said. "Once you get on the train, you're 
getting the stints. Once you get in the cath lab, it's pretty likely 
that something will get done."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Dr. Hillis believes the American 
psyche is convinced that the worth of medical care is directly related 
to its aggressiveness. Hillis has tried to explain the evidence to his 
patients, but with little success. "You end up reaching a level of 
frustration," he said. "I think they have talked to someone along the 
line who convinced them that this procedure will save their life. They 
are told if you don't have it done you are, quote, a walking time bomb."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Even
 more disquieting, Dr. Topol said, is that stinting can actually cause 
minor heart attacks in about 4 percent of patients. This means that, out
 of the 1 million stint patients in 2004, 40,000 ended up suffering 
heart damage from a procedure meant to prevent it, heart damage that 
they may never have developed without undergoing the procedure. 
According to a report published in the &lt;i&gt;New England Journal of Medicine&lt;/i&gt;
 (October 15, 2004), the two stints that are currently approved by the 
Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Cordis Cypher sirolimus-eluting 
stint and the Boston Scientific Taxus Express paclitaxel-eluting stint, 
have been associated with highly publicized adverse events after they 
were approved for marketing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Bypass, angioplasty and stint 
operations are really not about preventing heart attacks per se. The 
obvious purpose of these procedures is symptom relief. Patients are 
satisfied that "something" was done, relieved of the anxiety of dying 
from a sudden heart attack. And the doctors are satisfied that their 
patients are happy. The drug industry is satisfied because the patients

from 3000 years B.C. specifies the use of honey for head wounds. He says
 that perhaps "the honey helped prevent swelling and sealed off the 
wound to keep air and infection out".&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Recent research shows that 
honey is far superior to antiseptics and antibiotics. Israeli 
researchers took honey to the test. They applied the sweet, sticky food 
twice a day to wounds of nine infants after two weeks of intravenous 
antibiotic treatment and daily antiseptic cleansing failed to heal them.
 Following just five days of honey treatment, the babies' wounds 
improved significantly. After 16 more days, they were closed, clean, and
 sterile.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In a Yemeni study, honey was shown to have a significant
 advantage over antiseptics used for infected surgical wounds. 50 women 
whose wounds became infected were divided into 2 groups. One group was 
treated with honey, the other with antiseptics. The patients in the 
honey group recovered within 7 to 11 days, whereas the antiseptic group 
needed 12 to 27 days.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Although modern creams and antibiotics may 
have healing effects, they have the disadvantage of killing tissue and 
causing scabs and scars. But how many of us would think of putting honey
 under that Band-Aid or bandage? Like in the above studies, results of a
 three-year clinical trial at the University Teaching Hospital in 
Calabar, Nigeria, showed that unprocessed honey can heal wounds when 
more modern dressings and antibiotic treatments fail. In 59 patients 
treated for wounds and external ulcers, honey was effective in all but 
one case. Much to the surprise of the researchers, topical applications 
kept sterile wounds sterile until they had time to heal, while infected 
wounds became sterile within a week. Astonishingly, honey was even shown
 to remove dead tissue from persistent wounds, helping some patients 
avoid skin grafts or amputations.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;According to the European 
Journal of Medical Research, topical honey proved to have positive 
effects on post-operative wound infections due to gram-positive and 
gram-negative bacteria following Caesarean sections and hysterectomies.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;"Honey
 provides a moist healing environment, yet prevents bacterial growth 
even when wounds are heavily infected," notes Dr. Peter Molan of the 
Honey Research Unit at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. "It is a 
very effective means of quickly rendering heavily infected wounds 
sterile, without the side effects of antibiotics, and it is even 
effective against antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The 
reason honey is able to stop infection may actually be quite simple. 
Ordinary honey ties up water so that bacteria in a wound have 
insufficient water to multiply. The water activity of honey inhibits 
bacterial growth. In addition, the pH of honey is between 3.2 and 4.5 - 
low enough to inhibit the growth of many common bacteria. The major 
antibacterial activity in honey, however, is thought to be due to 
hydrogen peroxide, which is produced enzymatically. The level of 
hydrogen peroxide produced is antibacterial, but doesn't damage the cell
 tissues.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In July 2007, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration - 
believe it or not - gave Derma Sciences, a New Jersey-based manufacturer
 of wound-care products, clearance to sell &lt;i&gt;Manuka&lt;/i&gt; wound and 
burn dressings as medical devices. Now Manuka honey can officially be 
used in wound and burn care in the United States. Manuka honey has 
already been used as wound dressing for several years in Great Britain, 
Australia, and its native New Zealand. Canada also approved it for use 
as an antimicrobial dressing in early 2007. Honey used to be a standard 
conventional therapy in fighting infection up until the early 20th 
century. With the advent of penicillin, knowledge of honey's powerful 
healing ability began to fade from public awareness, and doctors were 
simply too excited over using the new miracle drug.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Compared to 
other types of honey, Manuka has an extra ingredient with antimicrobial 
qualities, called the Unique Manuka Factor (UMF), according to an 
article published in the Washington Post August 7, 2007. Apparently, the
 higher the concentration of UMF, the darker, thicker and more expensive
 the honey is. In this situation, it may pay off to use the most 
expensive honey available. However, even ordinary natural honey has 
amazing healing properties.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Applications:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;
Apply honey to cuts, scrapes, or burns and cover with a clean bandage. Change dressings one to three times daily, as needed.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;
Use honey as a first-aid dressing material where there could be time for
 infection to set in before medical treatment is obtained.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;
For internal disinfection and as a preventative measure, every morning, 
drink a glass of warm water with a teaspoon of honey and a little lemon 
juice.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;
Honey also has sleep-inducing, sedative and tranquilizing properties.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;
Nursing salve: Nursing mothers, try covering cracked, sore nipples with honey-soaked gauze to prevent infection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;
For heartburn, take 1 teaspoon of raw honey mixed with 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Note: &lt;/b&gt;Excessive
 heat (don't cook or bake with it) or prolonged exposure to light can 
rob honey of its antibacterial properties. Always store in a dark, cool

 cereals have never been more popular than they are today. Packed with 
vitamins and minerals, they promise power, health and vitality, 
especially to the young generation. There is hardly a commercial 
breakfast cereal in the world that does not seem to contain everything a
 child needs to receive the 'perfectly balanced' dietary nutrition. 
However, despite this 'valuable' contribution to family health, a 
frightening number of children show signs of ill health and lacking 
immunity. The vitamins that are added to the cereals supposedly protect 
the child against the vitamin-destroying sugar, but it seems that this 
guarantee is no longer guaranteed.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Besides cornflakes, which still
 top the list of American and European breakfast cereals, the sales of 
new 'tasty and healthy' breakfast foods soar as never before. The main 
marketing targets for these 'healthy' breakfast foods are children. 
Research suggests that as many as 79 percent of all households use 
ready-made breakfast cereals to start the day. Children are usually very
 keen to try the latest cereal model, which contains essentially the 
same ingredients as all the other types but comes in a different shape 
and color. The well designed packaging depicting a healthy-looking 
family or natural scenery promises the parents that the contents are of 
pure and natural origin, often organically grown, and good for the 
entire family. The kids love the happy friendly figures on the 
cardboard. "If Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Bugs Bunny, or the strong 
Dinosaurs like the cereal, then it must be good for me, too," some 
children might argue.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Packaging has a powerful manipulative 
influence on children. Researchers at Packard Children's Hospital in 
California asked 63 children, ages three and five, to taste-test 
servings of hamburger, French fries, chicken nuggets, baby carrots and 
milk. Some of the servings were wrapped in containers with a McDonald's 
logo, and some were wrapped in containers with no logo. As expected, 
most of the kids thought the food in the McDonald's containers tasted 
better than the identical food with no logo.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It doesn't take much 
to convince an unsuspecting mother that the beautifully packaged foods 
are actually good for her children. The mother, who naturally wants to 
secure the best possible nutrition for her child, finds her mind put at 
ease when she learns about the high nutritional value of the product in 
the food table. It convincingly states that the cereal has the balanced 
amounts of carbohydrates, protein and fats, and is most importantly 
enriched with all the essential dietary supplements. If the right amount
 of milk (mostly pasteurized and homogenized, which is the wrong choice)
 is added to the super food, the child would have the best possible 
start of the day that nature could provide, or so she may believe.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Shocking Revelations&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Yet
 the reality of the matter is quite the opposite. An American team of 
researchers decided to prove to the world once and for all that 
factory-made breakfast cereals are truly man's super-food. So they fed 
the common breakfast cereals enriched with the most important vitamins 
and minerals to young, healthy laboratory rats. The researchers divided a
 total of 240 rats into two groups; one group received cereal and water 
and the other one normal food and water. The experiment lasted for 45 
days. The result was totally unexpected and devastating. The rats that 
were fed with cereals, which according to common nutritional sense and 
advertising should have turned them into strong and vital grown-up rats,
 were close to death. They suffered from fatty livers, anemia and high 
blood pressure. In a separate experiment, rats were fed with cornflakes,
 which consisted of &lt;i&gt;useless &lt;/i&gt;cornstarch and white sugar. In this group some of the animals died.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The
 researchers had expected that the animals would grow faster with 
cereals, yet they did not grow at all, and some of them even lost 
weight. Especially the rats which received cereals with high sugar 
content (sugar is thought to be fattening), had the least growth rates. 
This is a summary of the results:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;The products that contained the least amounts of fat significantly increased the &lt;i&gt;cholesterol&lt;/i&gt; levels of the rats. Some products were able to lower the rats' &lt;i&gt;cholesterol&lt;/i&gt; levels but also caused fatty livers.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Those rats that were fed with cereals containing only small amounts 
of salt increased their blood pressure whereas the ones that received 
cereals with higher salt contents lowered their blood pressure.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Some of the products were enriched with iron, which should have raised &lt;i&gt;hemoglobin&lt;/i&gt; concentrations in the blood of anemic animals. However, the results took the researchers by surprise: &lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;a)&lt;/b&gt; There was no connection between higher intake of iron and &lt;i&gt;hemoglobin&lt;/i&gt; levels. The rats stayed anemic despite ingesting large amounts of iron. &lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;b)&lt;/b&gt;
 Those rats that had little iron in their blood deposited excessively 
large amounts of iron in their liver, which led to worsening of anemia 
(for a similar reason it is very questionable to give extra iron to 
people who suffer from anemia).&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Poison that Tastes and Looks like Food&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The
 main conclusion we can draw from this experiment is that the purely 
theoretical approach to diet and nutrition (using food tables and daily 
nutritional recommendations) has not only been insufficient to raise the
 standard of health in the population but has in fact caused more harm 
and confusion than is currently assessable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sanctified by theories
 of nutrition, which in actuality contradict the body's natural 
responses to food, the food industry has been given the green light to 
produce anything that fulfills the official nutritional requirements, 
even if the 'foods' have a poisoning effect and create havoc in the 
body.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There is no legislation to test man-made foods on animals 
before giving them to millions of human beings. The average consumer 
takes it for granted that the food produced by a reputable company must 
be safe for human consumption, even if it contains plastic (using 
animals to find out whether these foods are poisonous or not is cruel 
and I don't advocate animal testing. I have reasons to believe that all 
man-made foods have harmful effects on the human body, and I therefore 
recommend that you avoid eating them).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Not all governments support
 this disconcerting trend. According to an August 2004 issue of the 
Guardian, some few health-conscious governments in Europe that are less 
dominated by the food industry and big pharmaceutical companies, are 
beginning to protect their people from obvious harmful practices.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Health
 officials in Denmark recently banned the addition of vitamins and 
minerals to 18 varieties of breakfast foods and cereals produced by 
Kellogg Co. The reasons given include increasing evidence that eating 
those products regularly can ruin the health of children and pregnant 
women. Cereal is one of the first solid foods introduced to babies, and 
pediatricians typically encourage parents to start feeding cereal to 
their babies from between 4 and 6 months. Their advice grossly 
contradicts findings from a study that cereals introduced in the diets 
of babies increased the risk of insulin-dependent diabetes in the 
children.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Kellogg had hoped to add iron, calcium, folic acid and 
vitamin B6 to some cereals and cereal bars, as it is so common in other 
countries. However, Danish health officials believe that these toxic 
additives in the cereals can seriously harm the livers and kidneys of 
children as well as unborn fetuses in pregnant women. A government 
laboratory delivered the ban after examining the ingredient lists

				&lt;p&gt;All stimulants are 'sweet' when ingested but 'bitter' in their 
effects. You can become addicted to them without even recognizing your 
dependency. If you are used to drinking a few cups of coffee a day, try 
this: Go on a 'coffee fast', which means having no coffee for an entire 
day, and observe how you feel as the day progresses. After a few hours 
you may notice a dull sensation in your head and a feeling of weakness 
and lack of energy throughout the body. Some people develop headaches in
 the afternoon; others yawn and feel downcast.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;These effects may 
seem to be due to the absence of coffee in your diet that particular 
day, but it actually reveals the weakening impact the coffee has been 
having on your heart.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You may argue, "But drinking coffee is 
normal; everyone does it." Most people in the industrialized nations 
will also fall seriously ill at some stage in their lives. For example, 
one in every two people in the U.S. will develop cancer at some stage of
 his or her life. This is now considered to be an almost 'normal' 
experience, too.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Stimulants, as contained in coffee, tea and 
cigarettes, seem to be welcome and fast-acting substances for those who 
feel the need for a boost of energy, to wake up their mind or to feel 
more buoyant and alive. But since these stimulants have no real energy 
on their own, where is the energy boost coming from? Obviously, the body
 provides it. Stimulants are nerve toxins that trigger a powerful 
defense reaction in the body. When you smoke a cigarette or drink a cup 
of coffee or power beverage, the resulting boost in energy occurs 
because of this immune response. Therefore, the experienced increase in 
physical energy is actually an energy loss for the body.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Many 
people now drink decaffeinated coffee in the belief this protects them 
against the addictive effects of caffeine. Consumer Reports recently 
tested cups of decaf coffee ordered six of the most popular coffee shops
 in the United States. A regular cup of coffee has from 85 to 100 
milligrams of caffeine, while decaf coffee has from 5 to 32 milligrams 
of caffeine (about the same amount contained in 12 ounces of cola).  In 
addition to still getting a significant amount of caffeine, drinking 
three cups or more of decaffeinated coffee may cause an increase in 
harmful LDL cholesterol by increasing a specific type of blood fat 
linked to the metabolic syndrome, according to a study presented at the 
American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions 2005.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Decaffeinated
 coffee is made from more acidic beans than regular coffee. These strong
 acids have shown to increase the incidence of heartburn, osteoporosis, 
Glaucoma and rheumatoid arthritis. Decaf coffee can, in fact, quadruple 
the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis in three months, compared 
with people who drink regular caffeinated coffee or tea. In other words,
 if you feel you cannot do without coffee, it is far better to drink a 
properly brewed cup of real, unprocessed coffee or better still, healthy
 organic coffee that is made from real coffee beans and infused with 
ancient mushrooms, but without unpleasant and harmful side effects of 
regular coffee. It's more like a relaxing health drink that boosts 
immunity.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There are other causes of energy depletion, such as 
overeating or ingesting unnatural foods. Natural food, although it has a
 stimulating effect, provides balanced doses of physical energy and 
helps to support all functions in the body. This kind of natural 
stimulation maintains physiological balance or homeostasis. Eating too 
much of any kind of food, on the other hand, causes over-stimulation, 
and so does regular snacking. Excessive sexual activity, overworking, 
stress and fear also cause continuous over-stimulation. Thus, the body, 
in an attempt to deal with the increased demands placed upon it, begins 
to over-secrete its own stimulants. These are the stress hormones 
adrenalin, cortisol, epinephrine, cortisone, endorphins, prolactin, 
etc., which are needed to sustain the body's most essential activities.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Yet,
 abusing the stress response day after day and thereby wasting the 
body's energy resources take their toll on both the body and the mind. 
One of the undesirable side effects of excessive adrenalin secretion, 
for example, is a constriction of important blood vessels, including 
those that supply the intestines. This greatly diminishes the body's 
ability to digest food and eliminate harmful waste products. 
Consequently, destructive bacteria begin to decompose the waste matter 
while producing powerful toxins. Many of these toxins enter the lymph 
and blood. Toxins have a strongly stimulating influence on the body, 
which may drive a person into a mode of hyperactivity. The body's energy
 reserves become depleted further, and a toxicity crisis or acute 
illness becomes unavoidable. The toxicity crisis can weaken the body to 
such an extent that it is hardly able to perform. Thus, the body 
allocates energy only to those functions that are absolutely vital.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Given
 this condition, feeling faint, nauseous or weak is perfectly natural. 
This helps the body to preserve energy and use it to break down the 
toxins and eliminate them from the area of congestion. If the 
energy-depleting causes are discontinued, the body will regain its 
balance. But if they are not, the body may enter one crisis after 
another until the person falls seriously ill. Through constant 
over-stimulation, even a strong and healthy person may eventually become
 weak, frail and chronically sick.&lt;/p&gt;			&lt;/div&gt;

implants and undergoing mammograms can endanger your health. I have 
received many letters from women who have or had silicone breast 
implants that ruptured.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One woman had this to say: "... I have had
 them for 23 years with no problems. Then they started to leak. The way I
 knew was I had pain in my chest and numbness and tingling down my arms.
 I got them out as quickly as possible and did not replace them. The 
doctor told me that it was a bad rupture and I had silicone in my lymph 
nodes and chest, and he could only clean up so much of it because it is 
like glue."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There are many other ingredients in the implants, 
heavy metals such as aluminum and platinum are used as catalysts to turn
 the liquid to silicone gel. Silica is used as a filler; it is deadly if
 it gets into the lungs.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Implants also contain cyclobexanone, 
isopropyl alcohol, denatured alcohol, acetone, urethane, polyvinyl 
chloride, lacquer thinner, ethyl acetate, epoxy resin, epoxy hardener, 
amine, printing ink, toluene, freon, silicone, flux, solder, metal 
cleaning acid, formaldehyde, talcum powder, color pigments, oakite 
(cleaning solvent), cyanoacyrylates, ethylene oxide, carbob black, 
xylene, hexone,  hexone 2, thixon-OSN-2, rubber, acid atrearic, zinc 
oxide, naptha (rubber solvent), phenol, methylene chloride and benzene.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If
 you are concerned about getting breast cancer, it is best to avoid 
anything that is as unnatural as the above substances/chemicals. Women 
can actively contribute to a carefree future by taking care of their 
bodies' daily needs and requirements.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Another frequent question I 
am asked is "What about Saline Implants?" Saline implants aren't much 
better than silicone implants. Plastic surgeons like Susan Kolb, M.D., 
Atlanta, have seen the implants turn black, darkened by a fungus. The 
fungus can easily migrate into the blood causing severe symptoms of 
illness, including suicidal tendencies.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The risks are real and 
serious, and the complication rate is extraordinarily high. And it makes
 sense why this danger exists. The labels on 1-quart bottles of saline 
IV solution recommend storage at 77 degrees and include a discard date 
of about 18 months. With implants, the saline is stored in the body at 
98.6 degrees Fahrenheit degrees for years, which naturally makes it a 
perfect medium for fungi and other microbes to grow. Many women have had
 their saline implants for 10 or more years, and are suffering from 
unexplained symptoms of illness and sub-clinical infections. Women with 
saline implants complain about the same autoimmune problems that those

When the technician sees dark color, it represents the presence of ‘impurities’ - material that prevents the oil from being light colored, odorless and bland in taste. From a healthy knowledgeable person’s viewpoint, those ‘impurities’ are entirely desirable. Why? Simply because the very things which impart color, odor and flavor are nothing but nutrients. It is a real tragedy and even paradoxical that the removal of nutrients should be equated with ‘purity’. It is a tragedy because, if those very nutrients were present, they would contribute to the health of the consumer and not the other way around. And it is a bit of paradox because establishing the desired ‘purity’ as they call it, actually results in producing poor quality food.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;There are three methods of extracting vegetable oils from nuts, grains, beans, seeds or olives. The first is by use of a hydraulic press. This is an ancient method and yields the best quality oil, retaining the highest concentration of the original nutrients. The only two materials that will yield enough oil without heating them first before pressing are sesame seeds and olives. Therefore, sesame oil and olive oil from a hydraulic press are the only oils which could truly be referred to as ‘cold pressed’ oils. Unfortunately the term ‘cold pressed’ and ‘virgin’ are meaningless to the common consumer. They have no legal definition and mean whatever the manufacturer wants them to mean. They do not give a true description of the product behind the label. The term ‘virgin’ for olive oil rightfully refers only to the first pressing by a hydraulic press without heat. The term ‘cold pressed’ refers only to hydraulic pressing without heat. These oils are the closest possible to the natural state, therefore have the most color, odor and flavor. They are the most nutritive and the least degraded. Sadly these kinds of oils are often unavailable because too little is produced in this way.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;If an oil has been extracted by hydraulic press but has been heated prior to pressing, it is to be referred to as ‘pressed’ and not ‘cold pressed’.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;The second method is by expeller. This method uses a screw or continuous press with a constantly rotating worm shaft. Cooked material goes into one end and is put under continuous pressure until it is discharged at the other end with oil squeezed out. Temperatures between 200 and 250 degrees are normal. Obviously, this type of extraction does not qualify as ‘cold pressed’ either, it is referred to as expeller pressed.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;Now, with a hydraulically pressed oil, labeled ‘cold pressed’ or ‘pressed’, you can assume that you have crude or unrefined oil. But this is not true of ‘expeller pressed’ oil because the common fate of expeller pressed oil is to be refined after extraction. However expeller pressed crude or unrefined oils may be obtained and are healthier that those which undergo refining.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;The last method is solvent extraction, which is outright hazardous to health. Oil bearing raw materials are ground, steam cooked, then mixed with the solvent (of a petroleum base) which dissolves out of the oils, leaving a dry residue. The solvent is separated from the oils later on. This method is universally used by the big commercial oil processors because it gets more oils out quicker and cheaper. About 98% of the soy oil in the U.S. is solvent extracted.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;The most commonly used solvents are light petroleum fractions. The four types of Naptha used are Pentane, Heptane, Hexane, and Octane. Another solvent used is synthetic Trichlorethylene. Some of these chemicals are commonly found in gasoline. The most used solvent is Hexane. Oils dissolved and extracted by this method are solvent extracted dissolved oils and not pressed oils.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;The big commercial edible oil processors and distributors tell us that if any of the solvent remains in the oils it is only very little. But you must know just how harmful these solvents may be. Pertinent here is an observation coming from a symposium of cancer specialists organized by the International Union Against Cancer meeting in Rome in August 1956. Among many things they observed: “Since various petroleum constituents, including certain mineral oils and paraffin, have produced cancer in man and experimental animals, the presence of such chemicals in food appears to be objectionable, particularly when such materials are heated to high temperatures.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;The ‘very little’ argument for solvent residues is just as weak for solvents used for oil extraction as it is for pesticide residues. The amount of petroleum solvents that should enter the human system is zero!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;Refining is usually accomplished with the addition of sodium hydroxide and temperatures around 450 degrees. The oil after this initial process in refining is not considered edible without further processing, such as filtration, deodorization, bleaching etc. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica refined oils are “low in color (thinner) and more susceptible to rancidity”. Where bleaching is concerned, they say: “Physical absorption methods involve treating hot oils with activated carbons, fuller’s earths or activated clays. Many impurities including chlorophyll and Vitamin A are absorbed onto the agents and removed by filtration. Bleaching by any of these means reduces the resistance of oils to rancidity.”&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;Here is an industry which regards precious nutrients as ‘impurities’. Not just the chlorophyll and Vitamin A, but also the Vitamin E and phosphorous compounds such as lecithin, too. Then they further compound an already thoroughly compounded felony by virtually guaranteeing that the oil will turn rancid unless of course they load the product with preservative - which of course is always done. The only exception would be in the case of the so-called ‘health food’ oils which are poor quality and low-nutrition but are at least preservative-free and have to be refrigerated to avoid rancidity.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;It has been found that the digestion of oils is clearly retarded by rancidity. The products of rancidity were found to be lethal to rats. The degenerative diseases caused by rancid oils are undoubtedly brought about by the destruction of vitamins E, F, and A, both in the oil itself and in the body.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;Oil processing is so effective at making the end result free of odor and flavor that it is even possible for rancid oil to be ‘reclaimed’ and sold for human consumption. There is no proof that this is actually done but it is all the same an open possibility. Unfortunately this is the era of industrialized foods. Good nutrition is almost given no consideration at all. What is more important to the manufacturer is the privilege of controlling large quantities of foods at large profits. They must protect the pocket, not the person.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;Health and natural food store operators have in almost all cases not been able to advise the consumer because they have been misled too. It has been discovered that oils which have been solvent extracted, refined, bleached and deodorized have been sold as ‘cold pressed’. Knowing these facts, no one genuinely interested in good nutrition should now continue to be a party to the hoax.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;The process of refining oils is exactly analogous to the refining of whole wheat and whole sugar into white ‘pure’ varieties. In all cases, a raw product full of natural vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other food factors is taken and then the original natural food is cruelly reduced into a relative ‘nonfood’ – devitalized and stripped of all nutrition.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;One thing that may not be clear and probably will be asked is- What keeps crude oils from going rancid, especially in stores that handle them in bulk as well as the bottled ones? The answer is that crude oils, being unrefined, retain their natural anti-oxidants which prevent rancidity. How can one test it just to be sure? One drop on the tongue is sufficient to tell the story - rancidity is so bitingly, bitterly sharp and it is absolutely unmistakable. However that should be looked upon as a good thing because this way you have a simple household quality test that relies on your own sensory faculty and does not need to be lab-analyzed to ascertain quality. If you have been cheated into using refined oils, it would be impossible for you to tell if the oil in your kitchen is spoiled and rancid, it will remain the same- tasteless, odorless and colorless.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;Of course, when one has been accustomed to bland, virtually tasteless refined oil, the introduction of crude oil into the diet means experiencing the ‘real thing’. This experience of reality is due to the fact that for the first time you shall taste oil which contains all its natural vitamin A, all its natural vitamin E, all its natural lecithin, and all of the other natural food factors. cigarettes are at risk for heart attack once their menstrual cycles 
become irregular or come to an end. The regular loss of menstrual blood 
practically protects a woman (before menopause) from accumulating 
dangerous amounts of protein in the body, as long as the reproductive 
system functions normally.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This may explain why 
menstruating women before age 40 are generally not at risk of suffering a
 heart attack, whereas men of that age are. All the different blood 
values in women under 40 are lower than among men in the same age group.
 These include red blood cells, hemoglobin, Hemocrit, and the total 
amount of protein. Research has shown that men aged between 30 and 40 
years are 6 times more likely to die from a heart attack than women of 
the same age. In fact, heart attacks among menstruating women are 
extremely rare.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Once a woman’s menstrual cycles subside, 
if she continues eating animal protein, the level of protein 
concentration in the blood begins to rise steadily. By the time she is 
about 50 years old, her risk of suffering a heart attack is nearly the 
same as it is for a man of the same age. The earlier the menopause 
begins the greater the risk. Women, whose ovaries have been removed 
before age 35, have a 7 times greater risk of a heart attack than those 
who have yet to enter menopause.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The hot flushes and 
reddening of the face, which many women experience during menopause, are
 most often signs of higher blood values. They indicate that the body 
has stored excessive amounts of protein, which it can no longer expel 
with the menstrual blood. It has now been found that a diet consisting 
of a lot of dairy products hastens the forming of atherosclerotic
